I'm very unhappy to pass on the news that after almost 10 months of battling cancer Kris Munson has passed away. Kris was a great friend, and one heck of a great Fiero enthusiast. Following is his obituary

Munson, Sr. Arrangements are being handled by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services (www.hiers-baxley.com).
I know that I will miss Kris very much, as will my fellow club members, and others in the Fiero world.
Our hearts and prayers are working overtime tonight. Kris was a true friend. We will miss his smiling face at all the Fiero events that we attended together along with all the trips that we all made as part of Spacecoast Fieros. We will always have Kris and Audrey in our thoughts.
It is a sad day in our house tonight.

Saddened by this news !!! I only knew Kris from swapping some e-mails back / forth and purchasing flush mount lamp kit from him. He was a real straight up guy and you knew exactly what you were getting from him.
My condolences to his family and friends.

Wow....that is very sad news. I didn't know he was sick! I met Kris about 8 years ago when I was selling a maroon T-Top Formula that had 112 miles. He and his wife Audrey drove up to Denver from Florida to tow it home in June 2003 (I can't believe it was that long ago). He was a very nice guy and excited to own that Formula.
My deepest condolences to his wife, family & friends. RIP Kris.

This is very sad news indeed. All my prayers for his family and friends. I didn't know him personally but I knew of him mostly due to all the great things that everyone has had to say about him. Kris you will be missed.

Sad news for sure. 54 is just too young. In Frazee this summer, I had breakfast with MinnGreenGT. The day before I admired his car and asked him where he picked up the cool front turn signal covers. About a month ago, in response to an e-mail, he provided Kris's e-mail address and some very kind words about him. I fiddled with my GT over the weekend and reminded myself to get in touch with Kris; I needed those cool covers. So first thing this morning, I sent an e-mail to Kris's e-mail address and THEN checked PFF. You could have knocked me over with a feather when I saw "Kris Munson" as the lead topic and then to read he had passed at 54.....not 5 minutes after sending the e-mail! I only knew him by his good reputation. He, his family and friends will be in my thoughts.

I got to meet Kris Munson once, during a tech session at Dragon's place. He seemed like a pretty decent guy. He also did a lot of good for the Fiero community.

I am very sad to hear the passing of Kris. Honestly I didn't open this thread because I thought it was a complaint thread and I couldn't stand to see someone bashing a good man.
He will be missed, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Oh no, what a shame. Kris was a really nice guy, We all enjoyed the scuba diving in the Keys with Kris and Audrey and the various shows we attended over the years.
Will try to remember all the good times we had in this very sad time. Dragon, thank you for posting.
My deepest Prayers and love to Audrey and the rest of the family.
