Swivels or pivots in the middle, it may or may not have been swiveled . At the center hose clamp. Please forgive my noobness but I did a PFF search. I wanna say I got it with some 85 parts but am not sure at this point. The breather box end is a harder plastic, the TB end is pliable rubber. Part # is 10040193 looks like. Has Murray stainless clamps fr Canada. Dunno..

Any ideas? TY for your time.

Ideas for what exactly? You posted pictures and stated some thoughts, but it's not clear what you're asking for?

It looks like an 85/86 intake tube to me, for a car that did not have the recall performed. The same tube is on the 85 GT sitting in my driveway.

Sorry I was just asking if it was from a Fiero is all. I maybe should have been clearer with the question marks in the title. TY Dobey for your time and help.

So it is a pre recall 85 intake tube then? Reason I ask is cause its been sitting in a parts bin and I just wanted to be sure it was from a Fiero. All the ones I've seen thus far don't have a swivel. Please again forgive my noobness.

TY!

Yes, it is a pre-recall intake tube for the 2.8L V6.

It is not of any real intricate value, since the replacement intake tube installed under the recall is very common & was of a lot better design. Additionally, the "front" portion of the PCV setup was slightly different when this pre-recall tube was installed, thus if you don't have that to go along with the tube this tube is useless to put on a car. The "front" main portion of the PCV tube was left on all V6 Fieros, but I'm sure there was also a connector piece that was just discarded (the tube itself would have been capped off). The only value it may hold is for aesthetically pleasing an individual whom may be looking for items such as those to have for historical purpose.

FieroFreak, very informative. TYVM. That is exzactly what I was trying to figure out. None of the ones I've seen on Ebay are like it so it got me wondering is all. Thanks again.

Problem solved again! Bless you all you PFF'ers!

Yup. That was replaced with a new one when the recall kit was installed.

That tube was also used in early-mid 86. My 86 GT still has that one. None of the recalls were ever done on it. I'm keeping it that way on purpose. Even have a spare tube if I need it.
