I realise it has probably left an unpleasant taste in your mouth, but I for one find it sad that a couple of Peoples' rather harsh criticism of your well-presented Fiero rehab threads should be allowed to curtail your enthusiasm. It has also deprived other Folk, who also want to start on the learning curve, of some very good reference photos. I for one would like to see the outcome of your labours, and so I hope you kept a record of subsequent work you have carried out. fierofetish

Miss Tress, I echo his thoughts. I also admit at first I was suspicious of your postings. Your secondary style seemed like a tease and overpowered your true style. Let me tell you, you have style. Thanks for being here.

I was wondering if this was still going on. I PMed her saying don't worry about the other people when it started to happen, and she was helping me out with my brakes/rotors(NEVER ever changed them on ANY car before) with my Fiero and said she was going to PM me back with loads of info but she just disappeared What happened?? Tell me she didn't let all that stuff get to her, maybe her husband can ring in. Isn't his name 007 or Doug 007??

I too am disappointed that she is not posting the progress of her car. Her diaries were refreshing; full of pics, info and questions. The way she posted her progress and questions had some of the more experienced folks helping out, and that is what I thought the forum was about.
On the other hand, there is a life outside of the forum, and as such, why put up with the critisims when there is much more that you can involve yourself in?

I'm not sure she reads O/T. I don't think I've ever seen her post here. I sent her a PM after all of the flaming. She didn't seem to indicate that she wasn't going to be back. She may (hopefully) just be busy. I think she may be babysitting jscott1's car while it's being borrowed by the movie production company.
Am I missing something? If it's the thread I'm thinking about, nobody was insulting anybody, just suggesting she get people to do her brakes as there was some possible safety concerns.. Sure I made fun of the leghumpers, as did others, but I mean, comon..
I think it's really a shame that someone goes to the trouble to document a particular project the way she did, and gets slammed for it. It's a lot of work to do all that. Maybe the work she was doing was relatively basic, but holy crap, we get new members here every day, male and female alike, who have never torn into a car before, and come here for advice. It's great to be able to respond to a "How do I do my brakes" thread by a newb by pointing them to a thread like the ones she compiled. Yeah, OK, sure, maybe they have a bit TMI, not sure pics of gassing up or visiting the car wash are necessarily relevent, but what the hell, it's a narrative of the process, and for the most part, her posts are fundamentally pretty informative. It's too bad that a few guys who might have a greater knowledge of cars are so narrow as to not recognize that not everyone has their level of skill, and could possible benefit from her posts. Mean people suck.

I also enjoyed her diaries. Not only did she do a lot of work on the car, it also takes time to post all the pics. I hope she continues................Paul
