well it was a guy 37 years old, from where I did work (if I go back, laid off) guy had a 2004 mach 1 stang. He was a supervisor, I didn't care for him from past experiences that were little stupid stuff and I was having a bad day at the time. No one ever deserves what happened, it killed him his 2 kids and 1 nephew ages 6, 9 and 11. They said on the news he lost control and hit 7 trees. I wonder if he was speeding or what not to hit 7 trees? My dad commented on it and said who the hell speeds with kids in the car, but who knows what went on exactly.
I always hear about this stuff, but that kind of hit close to home. I'm sure they're in a better place. I can't imagine what his wife is going through

I always hate to hear that kids died because of an adult's negligence. If I were driving and got into an accident, I might hit one tree, maybe two- but seven!
Hit 7 trees... uprooting at least one... I'd say speed was a factor. I feel for the loss of the kids and what the rest of the family has to go through.

Live every day like it's your last.
Its always sad when anyone dies, but to assume negligence on the dirvers behalf is stupid. Accidents happen when no negligence is at fault.
Who speeds with children in the car? 'speeding' is relative. and the answer to the question is a lot of people do, everyday.

One of the trees the guy hit was uprooted. Take a look at the video in the link, look at how far the car went off the road before it even hit anything and look at how many pieces the car is in... I'm going to bet the guy wasn't going "only" 5 over.
His stupidity, yes negligence, carelessness, costed him his life, three kids, and luckily nobody else.

Here is a new vocabulary word for Liquid Reality to learn:
tact
Pronunciation: (takt), [key] —n. 1. a keen sense of what to say or do to avoid giving offense; skill in dealing with difficult or delicate situations. 2. a keen sense of what is appropriate, tasteful, or aesthetically pleasing; taste; discrimination. 3. touch or the sense of touch.

I beg to differ.
An accident, barring mechanical failure, is ALWAYS a result of error. Hydroplane = too fast. Couldn't take the corner = too fast. Smacked a tree trying to catch your spilled coffee = inattention. I always laugh when the news will report "the storm is blamed on causing 25 accidents this weekend." Like hell the storm caused those accidents. It was driver error. Dam plain and simple.
