I currently own 4 Fieros, but could not resist buying this two seater.

1967 MGB Mark II Roadster

The bumpers have been removed

The motivating force is the drivetrain from an IROC Camaro. 350, auto trans and narrowed posi disc brake rear

Looks like fun though...

$1000.00
They removed the original wiring harness and installed a Painless Wiring Harness.
The only thing wired up now is the engine and charging system. The wires are run to the lights, but not hooked up yet.
It also came with a new dash board with a full set of Dolphin brand gauges. It is not installed yet, that is why you can see the temp/oil gauge installed under the hood. That is also why you see all the extra wire under the hood.
It also included boxes of new interior parts from handle to bolts and moldings etc....
It has a new top and frame, but no interior carpet or door panels. The seats are shot also.
It has Wildwood brakes and an adjustable porportioning valve.

I drove past this car for months but never gave it more than a glance.
Saturday a for sale sign showed up. I spent an hour Sunday going over the car. Paid for it yesterday and it was delivered today.
I think it was worth the money. My friends said to strip it for a racer and sell all the parts for double my money. I think I will keep it together.

I think it was more than worth the money. I would also "keep it together". Those can only be getting rarer and more unique. I don,t remember that model so well but I think it had a rear luggage rack. I would ditch the spoiler and go with one if it did. I would ditch the spoiler even if it did not. Were the side pipes stock ? I do like those and the cowl scoop. How about some pics of the interior/dash. I see it has a roll bar. I am trying to remember if that is stock.
Does it have a frame or is it unibody/sub framed ? I knew of some people with V-8 Vegas and they tweaked the frame because of too much rubber on the rear. Are the rear inner fenders tubbed ? I look forward to seeing/hearing more on your excellent find.
Congrats.

Being British, and having had 3 or 4 of them, I have to say the car is spoilt by that incongruous scoop, and the rear spoiler. The engine..I love the concept!! I think personally, it should be restored to LOOK original, yet retain that fabulous powerhouse...and it SHOULD have wire wheels!! Perhaps the bonnet scoop is unavoidable, which would be a shame.I had an MGC, which had a Rover v8 3.5litre, and 4 speed box with electronic overdrive. It was fast, but hair-raising to drive.Sadly regarded by many in the UK as a Woman's car, in standard form.It was very cheap compared to prices in the UK.

I am not sure how I feel about the scoop yet, but it has to have something there to clear the carb.

I would recommend looking for the hood off an MGC..it might need a little sculpting to accommodate that carb, but it would look infinitely more attractive, IMHO.Those sidepipes would have to go, along with the "Kiddies pedalcar wheels!!"

I will have to look into the MGC hood.
The wheels will be harder to change, as they are the Camaro 5 lug bolt pattern to match the rearend.

The roll bar looks to be an add in.
The side pipes are not stock.
I have not been under the car yet to see if it is possible to route the exhaust out the back.
I am going to get it up in the air this weekend and check it out.
I have a cowl induction scoop I may try to put on it.

I once had a friend who had an MGB with a BBC in it. The car was almost undriveable... but very fun.

Hey, why not replace the cowl scoop with a shaker? I think it would look cool.

The current hood scoop has to go. I like the shaker idea.
The side pipes would look good if they were chrome and not cobbled together.
I think the wheels look good, they just need a good polishing.

I have always wanted one of those. A local high school marching band was having a raffle to raise money and one of those was the prize but I could not afford to gamble the $100 for the ticket. My dad had one when he was young though.
