No, he's a person who asked an honest question. Neither of you have the right to flippantly make personal judgments regarding him. Nor, from what I've read of Pokeyfiero's posts, does Pokyfiero have the analytical capability to make an objective measure of his IQ, nor a quantative analysis based thereon.
I can conceive of the necessity for the demise of another, contrived or otherwise. (Break into my house, and ye shall meet flying lead, if needs be. Which, if luck shall have it, will be moving in the opposite direction of you and at high speed at the moment of inital contact). However, I cannot conceive of "joy" as an appropriate emotion at the demise of another human being, no matter how heinous. Sadness that he existed at all, I can understand. Relief that his personal evil no longer endures, I can understand. But "joy" that he is dead, when he was already under control? That's like finding "joy" in killing an ant. (Killing the ant may be necessary, but is hardly worthy of human ecstasy).
But to declare anyone who asks why you feel that "joy" a "moron" is to cross the line of decency. Not all who ask you do define your emotions, or your apparent need for dominance, represent lesser intelligences. Nor are you entitled to assume this to be the case.
So I join UDLOSE in asking: "Why all the preening?" It's not like you personally caused his death. It should be enough to say "There passed an evil person. He's gone. Humanity is better for it."
And be done.

Ah, then perhaps the question he asked was not the question he intended to ask, or the question you thought he asked. Had he asked, "Why was Slobo such a bad guy," I would have attributed it to ignorance. (As noted by a BBQ specialist (grade unknown) at RJ's* in Austin: "Ignorance you can hep'; Stupid goes right to the bone.")
But he didn't ask that question. He asked why others were happy at news of Slobo's death. I've read some of his other posts, and would not on that basis be prone to leap to his defense. But I don't base my judgments of people on this forum on their spelling or grammatical skills, or the degree to which their viewpoints diverge from mine. There are some awfully good mechanics here who can't spell to save their lives, and who don't think as I do. I've learned a lot about my car from those folks, though, by ignoring their otherwise debilitating failures at communicating in English. The fact that they happen to know a lot more about the car than I do strikes me as important. But I digress.
English is a very precise language.
UDLOSE (depite any other faults he may or may not have) asked a specific question: "Why are people so happy that XYZ is dead?", for which he was labelled a moron. I personally regard that specific response to that specific question offensive. As I said before, I can understand the necessity for causing another's death, but I cannot understand experiencing joy at the result.
If UDLOSE truely wants to take a moronic (or even merely ignorant) position, then he needs to learn to state it more precisely.

Hmmm.....there's a difference between "analytical capabilty" and IQ. One is learned. The other provides a sometimes useful measure of the capacity to learn.
