I was looking at my bookcase with all my favorite stuff and was wondering what you got on your bookcases. Lets see some pics.

Please no pics of a bookcase full of books!

That's why they call 'em BOOK cases!

OK, in the living room alone we have:

Political thought, philosophy, and sociology

On the next one we have Biography, Bibliography, and Reference

In the foreground I have folios, classic literature, history, war, astrophysics, geology, and misc. natural science

And in the background is my Automotive/Fiero library.

And those boxes on the floor are filled with 170 books I am donating to the Morgan Hill Library becasue I am running out of room for books.

Then of course there are all the other rooms in the house wich include economics, management theory, construction, real estate, law, psychology, etc.

Bingo!

Hey Astrophysics, another one of my interests...

I'm not posting pictures of my bookcases... they are stuffed with books, any flat surface in my house probably has at least one book on it, and thousands more in boxes that I just don't have room for. Even more got destroyed in my basement floods... aurgh. Lost a huge amount of my golden age science fiction, I pretty much owned everything hard science fiction prior to 1960 and way to large of a chunk of what came after, including Russian and Polish authors. Quite a bit of theology, science, business and reference.

I do have one bookcase pretty much stuffed with cameras I've collected over the years, photo, instant, 8mm, super 8 etc, another display case with some of my O-gauge Lionel trains pre and post war, lost a bunch of those when my parents moved.

Well I don't have much because I am living here until I get back on my feet again. I came here literally with only the items that I could fit in my fiero. Let a lot of stuff go when I left Cali.

I do have my own bookcase though, well ok it was bought for holding my dvd's but still. And you did ask what is ON it....the most important thing. My 20gallon long gecko tank.

We have a library, I mean a real honest to goodness library in the house. I can't even begin to show or list all the titles. I am in the library now using that computer, just glancing over at the nearest shelf I see:

The Collective Works of William Shakespeare
The Adams Chronicles (a book about a branch of my family)
The Three Musketeers
Great Expectations
David Copperfield
A Christmas Carol
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
The Kingdom: Arabia and the House of Saud
The Collective Works of Washington Irving
The Grapes of Wrath
The Poems of Edgar Allan Poe
Scaramouche
Noble House
Shogun
Tai Pan
Haunted Ohio I through V
Several PDRs
Lincoln at Gettysburg
A Tale of Two Cities
Les Misarables
Two complete series of Star Trek novels
One complete series of Doctor Who novels
One complete collection of Anne Rice
A Short History of Byzantium
April 1865
The Complete Tutankamen
Cosmos
The World of Baroque Opera
The World's Best Dirty Jokes
The Holy Bible (King James Version)

That's just the first two shelves of the first of six bookcases

The Collection:

(the license plate is too reflective, It washed out the picture...)

It just so happens that I also collect... books <gasp> (lots of 'em!) but since the OP asked for no pictures of bookcases with <gasp again> books. I'll spare y'all
