nice its a tough line to walk. the old 60's future looks stupid these days. the clicking of relays and banks of lights & switches. and, the more they do - the stupid the original will look. but - thats OK. it served it prupose - and here we are - 40 years later - doing it again. keep it up - we can never have enough StarT reck.
I just got done watching StarWarts 1-6 again. its tough going from the beautiful 1-2-3 to the crude 4, and slowly improving 4 & 6. especially with the dialog problems mostly centering around Old Ben Kenobi, and his inaccurate & incomplete view of the past.
It would have been funnier if I could have closed the screen wthout using ctrl-alt-del
Well...I will have to agree with that.
However, it's not something that people need to get all worked up about. I can have the window closed in about 20 secs with multiple clicks, not using the C-A-D.

I'm not a computer geek I don't know all the tricks to get out of crap like that, when somebody posts a link like that and entices people to click on it by misrepresentation, I have no sense of humor. And then there's the hijack, look what that's done to this thread.

Jeez, all this fuss over a joke thats been removed? Really guys, you're all into trek and yet your reactions are quick and without even letting the guy explain himself before you give him a neg? Thought Trek was about a bright future where people were treated well and here you all throw negs willy nilly without even waiting til the guy could explain himself? Glad you're not on a court. You'd convict before you heard the defense!
Not to mention that he removed the thing as soon as people started to fly into a huff about it.
I really cant get past the irony that this quick to execute mob action happened in a trek thread too. Trek which is a show about the search for unknown things to try and understand them. Not to mention friendship.
