I laughed so hard I nearly pissed myself.

I think all cattle farmers should have to equip all their cattle with those devices, and then they would have to empty them daily into a collection tank. They should have to have the collection tank content either processed on the farm, or collected by trucks and taken to a central processing tank.

Yes, that would introduce SOME cost to the production of beef, but doggone it, our planet is worth it.

We PROBABLY should insist on humans being equipped with the same kind of devices, although personally, I might just decide to splurge out of my wealth and buy out of that by buying carbon credits. But YOU guys should still have to wear it.

What's ignition temperature for methane? Would love to see a full tank go off on the back of a cow.

if scientists could make all the hot air produced by politicians go away, we'd have global cooling.

With the current highly accurate global warming models, will we hit that temp in 2011 or 2012?

...and one flare gun later, the sport of cow-tipping quicklly evolved in to a strange mix of target shooting and sub-orbital ground beef collection.

heh, actually the smart dairy farmers already do something like this,

A neighboring dairy farmer puts a bunch of fresh maure in a greenhouse, collects the methane, and runs a caterpillar with it to produce electricity,

he runs his entire farm and still gets a $50 check from the electric company.

and hes no backyard operation, he has at least 300 - 500 head
