The projectors with the high beam solenoid on the bottom(well left side because the projectors are on their side).

The entire setup.

Ready to test the cutoff pic

HID on left stock H4 halogen on right.

Trial fit. Just gotta make a shroud to cover everything up.

Then to do the passenger side light. I will get pics of the projector mounts tonight.

At least someone else is doing it the right way, I put a set in the fiero, not pretty and a very tight fit (kept popups)
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/A...090219-2-084985.html

Defenatley worth the output especially when you pass someone at night and they highbeam you, I ended up letting them pass me and was amazed that i could easily see the color of the roofliner in the car infront as I returned the favour. (I believe he was angry that I passed him as he was slower than molases accelerating from the green and I was in the lane beside him)

yea. I love my HIDs. I wish I could have used a TL in the fiero. I think I may try it again when I get the cash for another setup. But first is a TSX setup in the fogs of my focus with 3k bulbs. There is nothing like seein twin cutoffs when your sitting behind another car in traffic. I like your setup too. I like how you kept yourself able to return to stock. Mine plug right into the factory harness with just the 12v wire coming from the battery. I got some headlights from a regular focus to play with. I kept the stock SVT headlights cuz they are pricey.

Any ideas on how to finish them off and make them look nice?? I was thinking of vacuum forming trim around everything but I am looking for other ideas that might not be so complicated.

Do you see the area in the lower left of the housing though?? The gray box where the plasitc chrome has been cut. I'm trying to find ideas to finish that area off nice before I paint the chrome.

because its waterproof inside the housing and that was my only choice of a mounting place without making the bulb wires longer and I have been told thats not the best thing to do.

i think i would have extended the wires and located them in the fenders or somthing
as long as you solder and heat shrink the wires it shouldnt matter if there extended a few inches

now it looks like you have a chopped up pair of housings

i would have left the stock headlight assemblys alone and used the HID's as driving lights in a nice fog light housing or somthing mounted in the bumper(ish)

but then I wouldnt have HID headlights which is the entire point of the retrofit. If you extend the wires you need special wire and everything. The wires have over 25k volts going through them.

The only thing you can do is go to a hardware store, get a piece of 1/8" plastic, and cut it to fit the curve of the light. It looks like the light bezel sits higher than the chrome piece and higher than the control box.
