I have a Dell Inspiron 8000 Laptop For Sale







It has a 15-inch screen 1600 x 1200 max resolution, 850 MHz Mobile Pentium III processor, 512Mb ram, 40 GB hard drive, internal modem, internal ethernet nic, and DVD RW drive. There are two pcimca slots, two usb ports, one 1394 firewire port, and the usual ps2, serial, video, sound, and printer ports. It comes with Windows XP Pro SP2, Microsoft Office 2003 Pro, CyberlLink PowerDVD 5.7, Roxio Creator Plus, McAfee 8.7 and a few other apps. I will include the software installation disks. Comes with a Laptop Bag, ac power supply, 2 batteries, Dell mouse, Dell mouse pad, phone cable, and ethernet cable as shown in the picture.

I am asking $150.00 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states via USPS Priority Mail insured with return receipt. I am asking for a USPS money orders with this. I am open to offers on this, sorry no trades though.

How long have you had it and can you give a description of any of the negs on it.

See if I can answer you questions partfiero. The last 7 months it had been on loan to my sister to use at home until she could get a new laptop. Before that I had it about 16 months and used it a few times for vacations and a couple of weekend trips. I just got it back from my sister 2 weeks ago as she purchased a new laptop. The original battery was being used as a spare, but it was near the end of its life so I have replaced it with a known good spare I had left. Both batteries are good and hold a charge. The screen doesn't have any notable defects or dead pixels that I can see. The laptop plastics (outer shell) isn't broken and there are no major gouges or scratches in it. I also replaced the original 15GB hard drive with a 40GB when I got it back. As a 15GB hard drive is just too small to do anything with now. I have done a fresh install of Windows XP and all of the programs included. I hope this answers the questions you had.

The win XP, is it on the dell disc or is it a separate disc that comes with it.
Want to make sure it has a legit XP for updates.
I am interested if OK.

The green cd that is the pictures above is a Genuine Dell Reinstallation CD for Windows XP Pro SP2 (it only contains Windows XP). I am including seperate disks for the other programs. I did not photograph it, but there is a Dell Windows XP Profesional COA sticker on the bottom of the laptop.
