I'm trying to find some product safety information about a helium bottle made by Worthington Cylinders--specifically--the burst pressure of their disposable helium tanks. It is supposedly available in a product safety information file from their website, and I saved the file to disc but I can't open it--windows XP doesn't recognize the file type. What does?

Just checked--no new pm.
Notepad wouldn't open it in a readable format. I'll have to try to do something else.

I don't know what you see wrong with it Don, I can read it. Weird that the first word is PDF.

PM just went through.

Check the link I gave ya above.. They mention something in there about a file format converter you can use.

Let me look around a bit more and see what else I can come up with for you

Edit: from yahoo answers:

The easiest way to open an ASHX file is to double-click on it and let your PC decide which default application should open the file. If no program opens the ASHX file then you probably don't have an application installed that can view and/or edit ASHX files.

for reff see the below link

You could also try using Internet exploder or Adobe Reader to open the file. Seeing as its and ASP.Net file and is usually used for website stuff, IExploder may work (or firefox, whichever you use). Only reason I mention Adobe is because the first word in the notepad photo you posted is PDF..

Edit 2: From Fileinfo.com:

use a web browser.
