Yea, old. Not really, with the exception of the drummer we are just some middle aged seasoned musicians playing some good music. It will be sort of up to me to try to entertain the crowd since I`m the frontman. Mike Sorry, Cliff you slipped in while I was answering Boonie. I really haven`t thought about 6th street. We are talking to some clubs on the outskirts of Austin. Thanks, Raydar

Ok, you need a look. I'm thinking something Iraqi. Come out on stage dressed the part, screem something about "souless infidels", and then Jihad the mutha' out! Maybe open with "Rock The Casbah"!
You'd have more publicity then you could handle! Get a fatwa or two put out on you, and you got a record deal for sure!

sounds real good. i was a roadie for a club band almost 30 yrs. ago. the toughest 4 yrs. of my life, 3yrs. of it was 6 days a week.i drove the truck set up half the band and did the spot light for the gig. the name of the band is yasgurs farm. the guitar player still has a band togeather and thay sound real good.the band plays in the n.j./n.y. area 6 piece band, drums/guitar player/base player and 2 keyboard players. enjoy playing and enteraining people and i am sure people will party with you. i still miss doing the sound check on the drums .

Thanks guys Yea spark1, I have done Hotel California Karaoke style before and I got a good response. Jim, thats one thing I have never been able to experience, is being on the road. That`s probably one of the things I regret, is not pursuing more of a musical direction when I was younger.

Thanks, we are looking forward to our first gig, which is a private party right on the lake. The owner of the property is even building a stage for us. Mike
Yea, I know a B-3 would ad to the sound. One of the guitar players said on No Matter What the guy used a Leslie, so he tried to replicate it with a chorus/phaser on his track. I thought it added a pretty good dimension. Mike

Excellent covers. I'm also a middle aged player that made a living for years in cover bands.
P.S. You guys need a B-3 :> )
A friend of mine had a B-3 with a Leslie that was about a cubic yard. Came close to ruining my back just knowing him and traveling with the band some. Hell of an organ to hump around for one nighters.
