Like the title says. I am looking for the disks so I can play it on a Apple IIe. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Anyone have any ideas? Or maybe a copy?
Thanks in advance.

Boy this took me back to Elementary School. LOL! I loved this game in school.
I remember this game like it was yesterday. 4th grade, if we got a b or higher Mr. Green would let us play for half hour. If we got a A we got to play (I think it was) need for speed. Not on the IIC but on his super new (at the time) Packard bell. I do have a emulator with oregon trail on it.

LOL! I seen that "Where is Carmen Sandiego?" on the screen. I played that in school too. Bringing back some memories. I still never beat that damn Oregon Trail game though, I always ran out of computer time or killed my family. LOL!

We were arguing last week about where the Oregon Trail ended. My daughters claim it ended at The Dalles because that's where the game ended. I think it ended at Oregon City.
All of our Apple II stuff went to Goodwill a long time ago.

Same here. I remember being a kid and my friends would try and kill the Apple's so we wouldn't have to do the typing tutor games. So they would eject the disks and the touch the disk part. Hit the keys really hard, turn the monitors on and off really fast. Nothing they could do would ever stop these old computers.
Its funny, back then I wasn't too excited about the Apple, but now they bring back good memories and I am glad I never tried to kill one.

KARATIKA!!! I loved that game... running running, uh oh, bad guy! Fight! Running running running...
I never could beat that damn bird I had another one similar to it, run around collecting things, but never could get past one part, couldn't find the apples, to get to the next level, then always got killed by a ninja throwing stuff at me...
Back on topic. My older brother is the only person I know to beat The Oregon Trail. I'll have to call him and see if he still has it.
Nice color monitor! I remember in school we had like 4 color monitor and the rest were monochrome and all the students would fight for the color ones. lol

LOL That game was AWESOME! For some reason I had it confused with Prince of persia...
What I recall: A baddie would run up to the main bad guy(had a bird on his shoulder?) -The main bad guy would point, the baddie would bow, then run off... you'd run run run run, then fight! run run run...lol
Gotta hit youtube for gameplay vids...

There were actually 2 versions of Oregon Trail. IIRC it was the 1st version that you could cheat on. You could spend negative dollars on medicine, like - 10000 and it would credit you that much to spend on food and other stuff like better oxen and things. Then at the next rest stop you could buy back the medicine assuming all your family was not dead. I believe in Oregon Trail 2 it was drastically different and you could not cheat in that one the same way.
I grew up in Oregon right near the end of the Trail, in Aurora Oregon.
