The headlight doors anyway. Had some trouble with the headlight motors recently, and just left them in the up position when we had to leave for my aunt's funeral. We left both indys out in the drive to make overly curious people think there was someone home. Dunno what it was--they were fine before we went to Tyler and Bolivar, but Jane called me over earlier tonight and asked "What the heck happened here?"
Top corners of both headlight doors chewed up and I can see bits of fiberglas on the ground in front of the car. I can see where something was all over the front of the hood--left marks in the dust, but I didn't recognize anything that looked like a track or footprint. What the heck would eat fiberglas or plastic? No--not squirells. The dogs keep them all run off. Pics tomorrow, but looks like I'm in the market for a set of white headlight doors now.

I saw this on judge judy, the guy setup a video camera because something chewed up his Mersadies, allmost looked like a bear attacked the car.Well it turned out to be the dogs (most rodents come out at night,so Im thinking its the dogs)by the way he won in small claims court ......
I left for Tyler last Wed afternoon, returned Thursday just long enough to grab some fishing gear and left for the coast--stayed down there fri/sat and returned Saturday. It wasn't like this when I left for Tyler.
dogs. I saw a video of random dogs attacking a parked police car. The officer sat in the car while the dog completely chewed the bumper off the car and didnt stop until the officer drove off.

Don, are you sure it wasn't the dogs? If they were outside while you were gone, and had access to the cars, it is quite possible. My dogs chew up my things when I am gone too long.. they both get terrible seperation anxiety, and usually go after my shoes or bed clothes.
Could be, but my old daily driver is sitting out back with the headlight doors up and has been for over a year. They've never so much as looked at it, but absent any other plausible explanation, I'll have to accept that my dogs eat Fieros. Who knew??????

If they are guilty, they may have been going after a critter that used the fiero as a hideout. I'm sure mice and lizards could run through open headlights easily.

Probably the dogs, with the Fiero so low (depending on the breed of your dogs) most medium size dogs wouldn't even have to put their paws up on the hood to chew it. You would think most rodents or smaller animals would have to get onto the hood to do it and that's quite a bit of chewing for such a small animal to do.
