So this year has been interesting. Earlier this year my father had his third heart attack, then got a diagnosis with kidney failure and may end up on dialysis. My uncle with serve diabetes lost another finger due to a burn that got infected.(he already has one leg amputated a few years back due to his diabetes) His wife my aunt had a sever respiratory infection and during that her father passed. Now tonight I got a call from my cousin that his step father who is hiv positive was just life flighted to an area hospital to remove a large mass inside his liver that has been bleeding. AND ITS ONLY MAY.

Well its not good. No surgery. It is a tumor. The bleeding was stopped but he has lost to much blood for surgery and they feel surgery is to dangerous. They said if they do the surgery there's a large chance he would bleed out. There going to start chemotherapy this week but he is to unstable to go home any time soon. Where all trying to keep his spirit's up and my cousin is driving in from Delaware to be with his father and step father. I'm praying he has a safe trip back home through the mountains.
I wanted to thank you all for your prayers. Things are not going well. Right now we are hopping that he can just come home. They give him at most 8 months to live. He is to weak for any more testing. He cant lay flat he has to much fluid in his abdomen and when he lays it fills into his chest. He isnt able to pass any of the fluids either. The main hope is he can come home and be with the family in his last days and not pass in a hospital. This will be the third person my family has lost this year. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.

No prayers from me (don't seem to work) but sincere best wishes to you and your family. I hope that they get better with strong support from friends and family and the right medical care.

Dam I was hoping to open this and hear he was out of surgery and doing well. Even more good vibes for him, my mom had cancer and was allowed to stay home till the end. I hope that doesn’t happen but if it is what he wants I hope he is allowed. I was there the moment mom died heart wrenching and a relief at the same time; she was in so much pain she was on some serious drugs. Even then she was still in pain, sometimes I wish I hadn’t seen the end but not, if you can understand that.
