1988 Formula 5 spd, A/C, cruise, sunroof, rear defrost Bright Red with gray interior 94,339 miles
$2,600.00
Overall the car is in very good shape. No rust on the undercarriage. The brake lines still look new. Mechanically it is in very good shape. It starts fine, shifts very smoothly, brakes well (firm pedal). The only known problems are an intermittent cruise control. It works for maybe 5 minutes then cuts out. It also throws the common EGR related code 32. The A/C blows cold. Has Dunlop D60 A2 tires in stock sizes and deep tread left.
Cosmetically it is in good to very good shape. Paint is in good condition with no areas of worn out clearcoat. The interior has a rip in the armrest and there was a dime sized tear in the drivers seat bolster over which an iron-on patch was applied to prevent further wear. The carpets are good condition with no fading. The dash is sound with no fading or cracks ( no broken vent corners). The car hasn't been smoked in since I've had it and when I bought the car I detected no smoke smell. It has been garage kept.
Here are a couple pictures ....
I'm selling this car so I can devote more resources (particularly time) to my other Formula and '87 coupe.
The car is located in the Watertown area (about 60 miles north of Syracuse along I81)

Damn, there always seems to be a nice one out there just when I can't afford it. Oh well, bump for you.

Can't speak for any other years than an 88, but he's got the right wheel for an 88 Formula.
88 GT's had a three spoke wheel, 88 Formulas and 88 Coupes had paddle horns.

As a joke, I handed Lee a 1,000,000 dollar bill, wondering if he’d accept it. Of course, it was a fake bill. Needless to say, I gave him the real cash and made the deal.
Thanks again Lee. It was nice meeting you & your Dad. I enjoyed talking Corvairs with him.
