If it comes down to a matter of the new owner wanting everything on the car, I can assemble everything for a few hundred more.
Now I know I will get a lot of **** for this, and frankly I don’t give a rats ass… I have almost $20,000 invested in this car, and I’m only asking $7,000 it is a hell of a deal considering you could drop the engine/trans/rear setup and throw it into whatever 88 you want and have yourself a $10k FastFieros Install….

DAMN, hate to see you get rid of your car man. Any reason in particular you are selling out so low? I think I saw it while it was at Loyde's getting the install done. I have a lot of $$$ tied up into mine too so I know what it is like to be tied deep into a Fiero. Sometimes I feel like getting rid of mine and just getting a new car, but for the money, you just can't beat a Fiero that is set up just right. (Which hopefully mine will be soon.)
Best of luck on the sale.

Any pics of the current state of disassembly? Why was the car taken apart? Were there any problems requiring disassembly? What year engine, and how many miles are on it? Any problems with the drivetrain, electrical, mechanical, etc.?
The hard part about selling the setup as is, even though you've invested so much, is that there isn't a whole, test driveable, car to look at.

Reason for sale... I bought this and had the swap done when I was in high school... A stupid kid with more money then brains... Well now I have graduated from college, and its time to move out and get a place of my own. I don’t have the time, or the money to really do much with it, and I hate to see it sit in my parent’s garage and rot... so I am trying to do the best thing for the car, and find it a new home.
It is a 2000 Grand Prix GTP engine; I believe Loyde said it had about 27,000 on it when the swap was done... I have only put about 600 miles on it since the swap was done. Reason for current state? I had big dreams of custom body work... bought scoops, didn’t like them, modified them, bought others, modified them.... etc...The car is put together as much as it is in the dyno video. That was the last time I had the car out... Mechanically it is a dream, runs like a raped ape... I have never owned a car that gives me such a rush... sits you in your seat every gear with a screaming blower whine...
I have all the interior parts; I have tons of panels, 2 GT fronts and 2 GT rears, everything...
It is killing me to sell this, but right now there are things more important...Moving out, getting married next year, getting my wife to be a nice place to live in and provide for us... etc... If I thought I would have time, or money to continue on with this... I would. But sacrifices must be made...
I'm taking a $13,000 loss selling this... You could take the engine Trans out bolt it in a nice 88 and have a show car...
Also to mention, I just replaced the master cylinder for the clutch because the interior seal was leaking. I also replaced the alternator because it was draining the battery (new battery was installed after alternator was fixed)... all of which is fixed.
I saw this car while it was having the 388SC installed in it and even rode in it afterwards. The install was done by Loyde @ fastfieros.com so it was definalty done right. The car was a clean str8 car before it was taken apart to be modified. From the looks of it, it would only take a few hours of work to get a few panels back on it and have it streetable. With a few extra hours you could have it back in Coupe status and looking good. With all the extra parts that are listed with the car, its well worth it. Like Neb said, you can always swap the cradle into another 88 and have a nice car within a day. The good thing about the car, is he has dyno video to back up the car. Good luck with the sale.

that is a great price. Really great. I also saw the car at Loydes, and you are hard pressed to find exposed wiring. Really a nice job. Hope the money helps you out.
Hey, your photo's show the car with stock wheels... does the price include the wheels in your sig, or are you selling those seperately?
Car never got the wheels in my sig... I had the money set aside and was going to order them and then I started having problems with my truck and had to use the wheel money to fix it.
A couple pictures of the parts car that goes with my car...
For clarification The T-top registry says my car has C49 - Defogger, elec rear window... The glass in the car is not equip with rear defrost and hasn't been since I bought the car so Im not sure if the registry is wrong or if the window was replaced for some reason.
Also... on my car, the 1988 Formula 3800SC... It has no A/C (compressor was left on 3800sc engine though) No cruise, no power windows, no power locks... This car was ordered from the factory for weight savings.
I'm in no hurry to rush a sale, so for those thinking I will reduce the price might as well bid because until I get what I need for the car, it can sit in the garage.
It is killing me to sell this, but right now there are things more important...Moving out, getting married next year, getting my wife to be a nice place to live in and provide for us... etc... If I thought I would have time, or money to continue on with this... I would. But sacrifices must be made
.
Sorry to hear you are forced to sell... Been there done that...been back there, and done it again, so I feel your pain.
Someone is going to get a sweet project. I wish I was ready for a package like that.
I would love to get rid of those IRM's... problem is with those is they are so huge and awkward shipping would be over $100
*bump for the morning croud*
[edit] If it is a matter of you guys wanting a car you can fly in pick up and drive back... I can put the interior back together and the rest of the body on and sell the project car seperate from the rest

Would they still be that spendy through grayhound? When I get them I'm going to do what you did. . . .so if one step can be taken out, sure would make life easier on me.
Let me know if you're willing to look into shipping and prices and such.
**Update** The exterior door panels have been put back on with the correct locks that went with the car; they are mounted solid and work perfectly...
I will be mounting the original 1/4 panels and groundfx back on the car.... I will also be putting the dash and cluster surround back on, as well as the center console...
This car will be drivable to wherever the new owner is located... Hopefully this will entice some others to bid on it that are too far to tow it to and from...
Racingman, I will finish the touch ups on the scoops and see if I can find a box big enough for them and I'll let you know...

Yeah, LowKey... I swore I would never get rid of this car, I made a vow to myself when I decided to get the swap that I would be burried in the car... It's mint under the body, no rust what so ever, runs like a champ... I never found anyone in town that could stay with me, scared everyone... It's going to be a sad sad day when I let her go...
I will be back though, its tough... Just graduated from college, moving, new job, new house (rent), etc.... It's really killing me to let it go, but 'ya gotta do what ya gotta do'...
The love for the 88' formulas will never die though, as soon as I am settled in and have enough money I will buy another one.

Thank you all for your friendship, kind words, support, and help... I will keep in touch with the forum.
Thank you Cliff for keeping this Forum alive... most informative forum I have been to.
Thanks to Loyde, Rodney, Fierostore, Aus, for helping me build this project... It is going to a great home and I wish the new owner many thousands of happy and fast miles
I will be back and hopefully own another fiero in a year or 2 after I am settled into my new home and my new job.
Good evening, Matt Jackson - Nebiros88 - Long live the Reaper
