Hey, I'll do anything (almost!) to earn some extra money to put into my Fiero!
$5 gets you a decent SIG $10 gets you a better one $15 gets you the opportunity to bug me for changes and a meaningful love letter!
Anything raised this way will go DIRECTLY to the preservation and enhancement of a 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT which is currently in my care, and no, this does not entitle you to specify what the money pays for (such as stick on scoops, fake fur trim, imitation spinners, orange and black stripes...).
Please give as much information as you can about what you are looking for, things that you want associated with your Sig, colors, themes...
Money back guarantee if your not happy!

Why am I not suprised that you would make a comment like this. Not all of us are independently wealthy, and I certainly don't find it morally reprehensible to turn a talent for one thing into something that would benefit my Fiero. If all it took to make my car something better than it is now was for me to sit at my keyboard for hours designing things in PS WOW would I have a nice car but the reality here is that there are talents that other people have that I don't. I'm not looking to do this as a business or for profit, just as a way to trade my skill at one thing for someone elses skill or ability to provide something else. I have donated to PFF. I feel that what Cliff does for all of us here on the forum is a great service. If someone where to come over to my house or offer to have me come over to theirs to help me do something with my car, there is no question that I would either pay them for their time or at the very least give them something in return. Anyone that knows me would also know that I would be the first person to give the shirt off my back when they needed it. So, in response to your eye rolling, I simply see this as a unique opportunity to put more into my car through the help of some members here on PFF. Some might find it an odd way to do it, but me- I see it as a way to trade for things that two people want. For me, it's all about the car and trying to find ways to keep it out of the salvage yard. Thank you for your opinion and feedback.

Here are some $5 sigs, I don't even know what a $10 one would look like, though I do know that I would be mopre than happy to charge $15 to someone that went as far as to call my house every two hours wanting me to change something jsut because they washed their car or added a new sticker or found a cool air freshener to hang from their RV mirror...
Let me add that I am not interested in $ from anyone who is struggling to put their own car together- I would much rather see that money go into thier own car than mine.

I'm sorry Rich, I have to disagree with you. As someone that knows as much about computers as fruit fly, I see nothing wrong with him charging a little bit for his time. I for one, would gladly pay for a nice sig. Just take a look at the one I have now. Pretty nice eh? Keep up the great work Andrew.

In my excitement I overlooked that, but it's fixed now! I blended the bike in a little better too so it doesn't look so bad. BTW, this wasn't totally my idea, I just put it together. I think more than anything, I'd like to see if this could lead to some graphics work. Who knows...
Where do I send the $$? My Specs are in your original thread. I'll go for the $15 multiple change siggy as I really have no idea what I'm looking for in a sig and a couple examples from you using my base criteria would help me narrow down what I want. Thanks (Your neighbor just down the road) -clint

I agree. A good Sig is worth something. If there were no fee, everyone on the Forum who doesn't have one would be driving FIERO nuts. I think his prices are too low. Double the price and you're starting to get near where the price equals the value.

Attention: Due to popular demand, prices have now DOUBLED. Actually, I feel that I shouldn't charge anything, only ask that a donation be made if you are happy and can aford to do so.
I might as well post an alternative sig for rverhalen here...
Everyone, please feel free to make suggestions on what could be done to make anything posted here better, I'm always looking for feedback and would much rather have it in the form of criticism than anything else. I guess that's just the perfectionist in me- imagine those poor people that have worked for me in the past.

Personally I think this idea sucks. Why? Because I didn't think of it 1st and guess it doesn't matter since I don't have the skills to do it anyway. This is no different than charging labor for anything else a man spends some time on IMO. Kudus for an innovative idea to make a little $. (Sorry, I don't use sigs myself, but thought I'd fwd my thoughts on it)

Wow! An Archie response! Here's somebody you don't see on this side of town very often, though reading through his message and noting the "Rat Fink" reference, I can see what brought him looking down these seedy back alley side streets.
I have thought about putting some ideas together for apperall, but Rat Fink wasn't the direction I was thinking of going. When it comes to graphics, I'm OK, but the free hand stuff- ehhh not so much. I'm willing to give anything a try though, but first, I have to get through my commitments to those whom I've started putting things together for.

Just to let everyone know, it sometimes takes me a while to come up with the ideas to do these. I do alot of searching for ideas and material to use and sometimes inspiration hits and sometimes it doesn't. I would like to take this time to thank everyone who sent me a PM about my work. Thank you so much. It's nice to know that I've finally found a niche for myself that doesn't push me to the edge of bannishment! On the other hand, it doesn't mean that I am going to stop being a PITA sometimes- I can only hold back so much (some of you know what I mean! ) Anyway, thanks for letting me do this for you, and please feel free to give me constructive feedback on anything I post. Sometimes it's hard to know if I'm going in the right direction or what I could do better when I only have myself to talk to...
