Im in need of a finished car now. I dont have time or money to finish this car its honestly about $1,000 away from completion.
I have around $15,000 into the car and i think the car is worth $11,000 as it sits, possibly more. Im not looking to sell it, but to trade it for a Finished or very very nearly finished SBC V8 or 3800SC powered stock bodied Fiero. Im not willing to trade for anything but a fiero with one of these swaps done. and it must be a clean rust free car. though bad paint is not an issue. Im looking for a fastback but may consider the right notchie.

feel free to ask any questions.

heres what the build up
Pisa Artero Kit w/ optional wing
85 GT donor
carbed 91' roller 350 W/ lots of goodies
V8 archie kit with optional 4 core radiator and clutch kit
muncie 4 speed tranny
aftermarket guages w/ piller, and monster tach.
aftermarket steering wheel with billet hub
custom fiberglass center console.
redline red underglow lights.
custom short shifter
G tech proformance meter
custom red anodized strut tower brace
lowered 3"
new front swap bar with poly links.
good brakes (stock) all the way around
true rust free car. i have proof. ask for ANY picture of any part!
much more done. just ask or look in pictures.

also here is a direct link to my photobucket. http://s76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/fierogtv8 or just click below

Im not sure how much power it has, Its a 91' 350 according the block and head id its from a corvette. I bought it with the TPI removed and a eldelbrock intake installed, I then installed a eldelbrock 700 cfm carb. new cloyes timing chain set w/ aluminum timing cover, hi volume melling oil pump with chrome oil pan, ramhorn exaust manifolds, chrome tilton mini starter, and full archie kit.

to be started it needs, remote oil filter kit, fluids, waterpump, altinator, drive belt, exaust, timed, gauges hooked up, and heat and fuel hoses hooked up.

to be driven, passenger side cv needs new boot, brakes need blead, clutch line needs to be hooked up, master and slave need mounted, new pedals and master need installed, clutch blead, rockers and door panels mounted. other then this i cant think of anything.

do you have most of that in hand ready to be installed, or does the buyer have to purchase everything stated in your previous post? if it does have to be purchased, have you gathered a complete price list of everything stated? if so how much was everything added up you buy it brand new from a retailer? (obviously people can get deals on ebay, or PFF if they take there time, but im just curious on how much money it will take for parts if you wanted it done on a limited time schedule). thanks

you would need to purchase the following

remote oil filter kit, fluids, waterpump, altinator, drive belt, exaust (muffler & tubing) fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and cv boot

the rest is there, there may be a few small odds &ends i forgot like clamps, and hoses, but nothing expensive.

i love the look of your car, and was definatly interested in a possible trade with my v8 fiero, but im an engine guy, and would have no problem finishing off the drivetrain part of yours, but i have no clue on whats going on when it comes to body work (i know enough to know that i dont have the patience to do it). any kind of body work besides washing and waxing, lol.

You have done so much work and you’re probably 80% done, it would be a shame not to finish it and enjoy all of your work. I know building a kit is a lot of work and can seam overwhelming at times. Hang in there you can do it.

Thats what Body shops are for. Its almost to the point of being ready to paint and im sure i can finish the assembly of the body myself. and as a bodyman i can have it in slicksand and ready to be blocked for final prime. any pictures of your car?

Thanks for the motvation. I wont give up on it. and im still doing as much as i can with the little income i have. Its just that im out of money and im begging for something to enjoy now. but if we get some work rolling in and business picks up once again ill be making real progress and i will finish this car. like you say, its really not too far from being done now, its just a few parts, wheels and paint. then a vigorius break in period consisting of rapid tire temp increases , and testing of my clutchs load limit.

Thanks, see you in september.

sorry for the late reply, but i didnt have internet for a couple days. does in come with those nice wheels that are in photobucket? and did i see that the tranny is still rubber mounted? or was that just painted steel? and 85 GTs never had fastbacks, you must have done a fastback conversion, or bought it with one already done to it? and for pics of my car, i dont have any right now, but i will be getting some this weekend when im drag racing it (i dont have a digi camera). otherwise its just a stock looking red 87 GT with silver ground effects. with that car i am trying to make it as light (weight) as possible while remaining stock looking.

I traded the wheels today for a laser rs turbo, for a daily driver. you wouldnt want them for it anyway they are 40mm offest and would be way too far in for the artero. yes the tranny is still rubber mounted. I wanted some give somewhere so i kept the solid mounts. as for the fastback that it once had i did the conversion myself.

bump. so not too many of you have finished sbc fieros to offer i take it? alright, Ill start listening to cash offers over $8,000 then.

This thing really dont eat much, so can can sit on it forever, so dont expect me to drop my asking price. I Have around $15k into this car and if you were to build it yourself you could hardly get a stock fiero with a sbc swap alone done for my asking price.

when you say clutch line needs to be hooked up, does this mean it needs all new clutch lines to be made for it, or just hook up the clutch lines that are already installed?
