well as you can see this is a very nice very clean 84 that is mechanically sound, the only known issues are the AC needs a charge and the headlights dont go down on there own. I regulary push near 40 mpg hwy. with it I really like this car and enjoy driving it but I'm having shoulder surgery in Jan. and need to get rid of a manual car or two and get an auto
Car is in Battle Creek MI

It does look nice. So 80k miles on the clock, has anything been rebuilt on the engine? I like hte shape those wheels are in. It's too bad you live so far away.

That is a nice looking 84. You are close to me, I wish I had room for one more. I'll keep an eye on this and see if it's still around in a few months. I'm not really looking right now, but I have 2 sons (soon to be 13 and 11) that are getting closer to driving age and a nice 4 cyl Fiero would be a nice starter car for them.

I'd love to trade you my auto 86 SE for it, but my little brother would kill me if I traded my areo for another 84. (he blew up the 4.10 in his that I sold him because the clutch had air in the line...go figure.) I'm like a mother when it comes to fieros, I can't say no, and I love every one equally in different ways. Let me stew on this one, man. That's still a long way even if it could make the trip.

Nice car, hard to believe it's a Michigan (snow, salt, ice) car.
It wasn't always a Michigan car, I picked it up from Chicago and I believe it was originally from Kansas.
I did find a slight spot of trunk rust when I swapped the tranny, only on the sheet metal though not the frame, so I ground it out, patched it and painted it. It was only like quarter sized after I ground it out.

free bump- What did you come down to, Tyler? I'm going to MO for basic training in the Army in a few weeks, I have no idea if there's any time after that for me to come look, but if so that'd be sweet to drive it home. Probably won't work though.

big bump sorry I was awake for way too long before the last post...
shipping is the only thing keeping me from it right now but I may pull a fast one on the account and shall we say "accidental overdraft" may help me on this one... I'd like to know a lot about it judging from what it is now I'd say it would make it to wisconsin easily wouldnt it? I have a drop off point there that I would station it at for when I travel the US so I dont have to rent a car, (not allowed to due to a rental rally and debt of 23k$ for a new ford focus zx3.... lol it was worth it though and they really are rally capable)
but Email me on what your bottom dollar is and I will see how fast I can work this out for you... Cptn_Howdy1@yahoo.com
thanks

Remember me? I'm the one who bought this car in January.
When you were selling the car you said it only had "a quarter sized rust hole" in the trunk which you repaired. You said it was really clean and only wanted to give a Fiero fan a great deal.
Care to explain?

DAMN! i live in WI, and have had some pretty rusted fieros, but that whole frame rail on the last pic looks completely gone... thats why i ALWAYS peel back the carpet in the trunk on the drivers side to see whats really going on... nobody can hide that rust spot on fieros. sorry to say man, but its really not the sellers problem to deal with now, you should always know what to look for when buying a car. and rust is one of the easiest things to look for on fieros.

It's plain sad that we cannot trust our fellow Fiero enthusiasts.
I've posted this to let others beware of items sold by this dishonest person. He's trying to sell 3 other cars on this list. So who knows what work he said he has done and if it's really done or done right.
If I can save someone else grief then that means not all is lost....

Aw man..... I know how it is - you get excited about a car - maybe drive a long way - and trust the person you are buying from....
I have bought and sold fiero's like that in the past. I never hide the fact that the rust exists. I dont advertise it either - and CERTAINLY dont say there isnt any....
I also share the fact that just about every Fiero in the Chicago area (thats a DD) looks similiar. I would still have bought that car - especially if the mechanics were as stated and the mileage correct. But, it would have been worth about $400 to me....
It takes a LOT of years of this kind of stuff to make you slow down and check everything TWICE when picking up a fiero......
And again - if the interior and mechanics are really clean, pull off the back panels and patch in some metal and cover it all with POR15.... it will make a nice driver for a long time....
