I screw up the ad ,and for some reason i could not revise the shipping ,so i ended the auction and started it again .
It might take a hour or so before it shows up ,again ,fiero or sprint.
Unless someone can make a shortcut to it ,goodluck

Dude wheres the auction?
I was bidding on both your auctions.
I came in tonight to up my bids as I was sure they would be higher and blam you ended them both.

If you are thinking they were going cheap then I suggest putting a reserve or start your bidding higher. People go to ebay for a deal and if you are closing your auctions it kinda ticks people off. I was willing to keep bidding as I'm sure other were also.

I decided to keep them ,I though i would see what they would get in auction and did not want to wait until the last minute.
Its cost me about 1.00 for the add without a reserve ,had i put a reserve it would have cost 46.00 .
I did not need to sell them but for the right price i will ,I have 3 other fiero i could use these on.
make a offer if your serious ,im not letting them go for less then 400.00 + shipping.
As well for the sandrail i had for sale ,I would take no less then 5000.00 for it.
So i will be parting it out ,everything but the Corvair drive train .I'm keeping that for a spare set up for my 65 conv, corvair.
Thanks for the interest

The only way your going to get a set of sprint headers for 200.00 is if somebody does not know what they have.
if you were serious about buying them , you would have offer a reasonable amount.

Well that would be a little difficult as you ended the auction.
I would have bid up to the half price mark of new. I buy them all the time for projects and to resell. Honestly I think it is kinda silly telling me how I should bid on a auction. If you wanted a certain amount it is your responsability to set it up that way.
Just face it dude. You srewed up the auction and chickened out there by wasting others time. If this is going to be a practice for you to sell this way then people won't take your auctions seriously. Take this how you want. I'm not telling you what to do I'm telling you what I won't do when I see a seller like you.

Your headers were up to $325 when you pulled the plug. You started the auction at 9.99 with no reserve. Part of the way Ebay works is that when you offer something for auction, you leave it up until the auction is over--and if you don't get what you thought you would it's "so sad, you're bad."

I think pulling the plug on the auction was pretty dishonest and dishonorable. If I had been in the bidding, I'd be looking for a way to complain to Ebay. Your personal honor shouldn't be something that you put a monetary value on.

BTW, he did the same thing on his sandrail auction.

You are the same guy who PM'd me and asked why I was asking so much for my Kahines Euro taillight panel with Vette lenses.

I had to explain to you that the paint job on the panel was $100 and the lenses go for about $50 ea. when you can find them and that I had over $600 in the whole thing, so $400 was a bargain.

To be fair, you did message me back and tell me you didn't realize all the cost involved, but man you just PEGGED my irony meter with your Ebay stunt !

Sounds to me like you have no hesitation at all to try to beat down others on a price, but expect TOP dollar for what you sell.

Good Luck...you're gonna need it....

Just because im not interested in selling my stuff no more, why am i greedy.
Because i dont want to give my stuff away ,find another sucker !
like i care if you give me a red bar, I was selling a product on ebay and offer it hear first.for a fixed price, how is that dishonorable
And what give you the right to give me a red bar ,I dont know you and never delt with you .
Because i chouse to end my auction ,without costing anyone anything ,im dishonorable. LOL
Let me teach you a little something body ,dishonorable is if a let the auction end and decieded not to sell ,big differents
Give me a break and stop all your crying .
Like i said somone serious about buying something will put what they are will to pay on the table ,for all you last minute bidders ,if you think ebay is all about that ,its you snipper that make it annoying to get bid out for the last secound for a couple of bucks, just to resell it for a marked up price.
Yea i was the guy inquiring about your overpriced rear euro light ,I hope you found a sucker.

Thanks for the replay ,I did not think to add up all that.and did not know the corvette lense were so costly
So 400.00 does sound reasonable

please let me know on shipping ,if you are interested in selling outright .
I have tryed about 3 times to contact kahines for one of his panel ,but have had no luck.
Thanks again,
Mike

That's Buddy

I find this statement sad. I wasn't trying to cause you trouble but you deserve it anyway so there ya go.
I wish you could shut your trap long enough for a little input from others to seep in.
No one says you can't expect a lot for your stuff. Thats great it just won't sell. It is the way you did it that is wrong. If you won't try and understand that you really deserve what life has to offer you. Open brain shut mouth. That's what my old man used to say to me when I was like 5.

Sadly enough, I think he's for real and I don't think he is stupid.

I *do* think he is patently dishonest.

He's done over 160 transactions on Ebay and knows damn well what a reserve price is. He admits that he didn't want to commit to the $45 fee to set a reserve on his auction, so he lists it with no reserve then comes here to this forum to announce it, trying to gin up more interest, (bidding), when he KNEW all along, (as he admitted), what his bottom dollar to sell was. When that didn't appear to be working, he just yanks the auction. At no time did he mention to anyone here that if the item didn't reach the price he was looking for that he would pull the plug on his auction. I'd call that dishonest, as well as jerking forum members around. (manipulative)

I found it more than a little ironic that he's the same guy that thought my price on my taillight panel was too high and appeared to want to beat me down on the asking price. When I explained to him why I was asking the price I was, he tells me that's "reasonable", but then announces to everyone here that it was "over priced" and hopes I found a "sucker". (Did I mention that he messaged me AGAIN 6 days ago still inquiring about the panel?) So, his characterization of that communication was also dishonest.

Anyone starting to see a pattern here???

I don't begrudge anyone getting the best price they can when selling something, and I certainly don't begrudge anyone getting a bargain when buying, but I do detest manipulative liars.

Wow...
So the auction now is starting at $50 less than he had when he cancelled it (I think you have to cancel w/ >12 hours) so if he had let the auction run, the odds are that last minute bidding would have gotten about what he wanted, maybe more. I am pretty sure he had to lie to end the auction the way he did. Anyone that was involved in bidding should be able to file a complaint with Ebay since they are obviously up for sale again and the ad looks identical with the exception of price. There are Ebay rules and he will be marked and followed if the complaint is made (Ebay has people watching for this all the time).
I knew people that did dirty little tricks on Ebay, worse than simple lying, and it always drives me nuts (not that more than a few buyers/no pay bidders have bothered me though).

I was one of the people bidding on them and was willing expecting to get a good deal. If you do not put a reserve on your auction, you are expected to accept the bidding prices. You are allowed to end early (prior to 12 hours before ending time) if you feel the auction is not going to go well. The bidding was up to $325.00! What more does this jerk want! I have put a complaint into e-Bay and was responded to that : We are looking into this infraction and will respond with our findings. yada, yada, yada.

I can't believe you are trying to auction them again......you should be banned!!!!!!

damn, wanted headers like this bad too.... after seein'g him post this crap, and playing games, there is no way I am going to bid on them, I also posted a link to this thread, on 2 other fiero forums, I don't want anyone getting yanked around by this bullshit.

mental note to self: do not ever bid or buy anything from this guy, warn all friends about this guy's shady doings.

anyone else have 2.8 headers for the fiero for sale?

I thought the idea behind Ebay was to get something for nothing? Didn't they build there reputation on that? So what if someone bid snipes, it still doesn't mean their gonna win, it all comes down to how much someone is willing to spend on it. It appears that you had quite a few people here willing to spend the money, and who knows how many others, not associated with this forum were looking. I don't think you're gonna even close to what you were potentially going to get. Too bad for you.
