As far as I can tell, because ANDREW has NEVER sent me an E-mail or IM regarding my purchase over a month ago off his e-Bay web site, he intends to rip not only myself off, but at least one other person on this forum. I HATE THIEVES!!! He had this post a while back and as I understand it, he's still around. So Watch Out! THE SUPER INCREDIBLE ULTIMATE CUSTOM FIERO BADGE!
Wow! Really, I know Andrew personally, and this is not something he would do . Have you tried to contact him thru here? I've boughten quite a few things from him here and off from. Try to get ahold of him thru here, I'm very sure it's a misunderstanding. -Jason

I do not believe there is anyone else who does make custom badges. His are really nice also. I have known F-I-E-R-O for quite awhile thruogh this forum. He is a nice guy and gives of his talents. There are some expenses and troubles producing these badges, not something he can give away. Knowing the people who have gotten badges from him, their satisfaction, and the length of time Andrew has been supplying them, this could not be a scam. Life comes at all of us fast and hard sometimes. Which makes for less than ideal transactions. Perhaps he should have more diligence with his online sales but hey, things do happen. I remeber once before he got behind in deliveries of said badges and he worked hard to clear that up. As suggested, contact him here, through the forum.
EDIT I see that you have tried through the forum. I know you do not want to hear "have a little more patience" and he should be giving other people's money more attention. I am sure you will not be ripped off.

Edit- NM not as easy as I thought, the search function is very poor
No it's not. Do a search for username "F-I-E-R-O", sort on date, and in the third thread you'll see he has posted as recently as June 6th. Since people have been trying to contact him for over a month, I don't think he's not responding because he's "missing".
I like Andrew, but this is not the first time he has taken money from people without delivering the goods. I know it hasn't been easy for him but if you're going to take money from people, better make damn sure you can make good on your promises.
The guy could make a small fortune selling his stuff here on the forum, yet it's crap like this that makes people think twice (or more) before they buy anything from him.
I'm one of the ones who hasn't received the good either. I ordered 3 badges, paid the money immediately and haven't heard a thing since. This is not acceptable.

That's the search I performed. Only problem is he could easily have posted more recently. If he posted a thread yesterday but no-one responded, and then several threads he had posted in at one time had responses after that his most recent post would be buried beneath those threads.
A typical search for a users posts ordered by date shows the last post they made as opposed to the most recent thread they contributed to at one time. Can that function be added in?
But yes, he definitely isn't missing. That's too bad, I've never bought anything from him but found him to be quite helpful.

What Cliff said. I mean, forget about it, those badges are nice. Very cool in my opinion. I am surprised the guy didn't sell more than what he did but his "business" practices suck.

According to his post in Jerry's Black Betty Build thread, he'll be there:

I wouldn't put him on the level of thief as Master Tuner Akimoto or George Miller, but I'm not surprised to see him blow people off. Especially members with lower post counts or more recent membership dates.
Andrew likes to make a big splash, even when he may not be prepared to swim. Looks like he got in over his head. But I don't think he set out with the intent to scam.

The thing that ticks me off is that he still has a bunch of listings on E-Bay for the badges. Not to mention that when I purchased the 3 GT badges the listing said that there were 25 available.

Jason, if you know him in person, maybe you could make sure he's aware of the situation. If there's a delay or other problem, just contacting the people and letting them know would go a long way to easing some suspicions.
Most people are reasonable and will work with someone, but it's up to Andrew to keep in contact with his customers and not blow them off. We know he's been on the forum in the last few days, so it's not like he's been out of town or without internet access. That looks bad, and until he gives people are reason to think otherwise, they're going to assume the worst.

Yes, if he were concerned.........he'd be right here setting things right. He seemed like a nice guy to me too. I hope he does make good on his sales here on the Forum and E-bay.
This has nothing to do with the badges but... I paid andrew to make my sig and to also make my show poster. He made the image of the poster and emailed it to me so i could have it printed in time for D7. He told me he would upload the full size image so i could have larger size posters made. The image never got uploaded. He then told me he would send me a disc with the image on it and that never came either.
Here is a copy and paste of the pm's we exchanged back in the beginning of April...
It turned out pretty good. Could be a better quality paper but as for the pic goes...It looks great! ----- Original Message ----- Bwahahahahahaaaa! Now I know where you live!!!
I'll get it our to you ASAP! BTW, you haven't told me if the poster turned out OK or not from Kinko's...
-Andrew
----- Original Message ----- If you don't mind sending it to me on a CD thats OK with me.
James Schulz XXXXXXXXXXXXXX Naples, FL. 34104 ----- Original Message ----- I've been trying to figure out how to make the file size smaller but can't seem to get it right. I'd be happy to send it to you on CD and/or keep trying. I have it uploaded, but for some reason can't get the http address right to download it. Grrrrrrrrrrr....
----- Original Message ----- Did you ever get a chance to upload that file?
Andrew did a great job on my sig and the file for the poster but he never came through with the large file size.

Thanks for the heads up, I was thinking of contacting him for a custom badge. I will look else where.
Damn....I was thinking about one of the badges myself. Oh, well. I'd rather wait for someone else than deal with the aggravation of having to chase some guy down for my stuff.
wait a minute....................this guys is taking "donations" to help BobadooFunk out! He is up to like 750 bucks , and funk has said he doesnt want the money several times. WTF!!!! If he screws anybody on this , kick him off this forum and press charges PERIOD! I didnt know this part about him............i almost sent like 50 bucks to his paypal to help out BobadooFunk. Here's an update: Andrew sent me an E-mail via e-Bay and Pay-Pal stating that he was sending out the badges today. I'll believe it when I see it and if it's true- Yeah, Andrew, no hard feelings.

Who the **** are you? I don't have any PM's from you regarding this. As far as my actions with this endeavor, I specifically replied to just about everyone that I didn't want any money sent, just a list of what people would be willing to donate. Also, I was willing to kick in $300 of my own, as posted at the beginning of the thread. I'd like to thank Jerry for saying something--- anything--- on my behalf regarding what I have done for him so far, in this post- just another reason I have felt the way I have over the past few months. In fact, here is a quote from a PM that explains what I was planning to do:
Ok but pls don,t forget to let me know to when to send it and to where ..thx XXX ----- Original Message ----- XXX,
This is my plan: put together the offers, find a Fiero, pay for the Fiero, then have people send the money in. That way if for some reason something gets botched, There won't be anyone who will feel cheated. I'll add the offer to the running total and keep the thread updated with progress reports. Thank you!
-Andrew ----- Original Message ----- Give me a adress to where I can send a US money order ..sorry got no paypal ..I give $20 on it be send monday morning ..let me know thx ..XXX
My plan was to use MY OWN MONEY to buy the Fiero, present it to Jerry, then have people who said they would contribute send their contribution to me to help cover the purchase. Who the hell would do this for anyone else here? Most people wouldn't do this for their own family member let alone someone they knew through a forum. And what would I get out of the whole thing? Just the satisfaction of helping someone out when they needed it. PERIOD!
. . .
I've been avoiding this for some time now but I guess things have gotten to the point where I can start to crawl out from under my rock and try to explain what has been going on with me. This is something that has been building for some time.
Edited to say that there were a number of things that built up over time that I let eat at me and brought me down from things that happened relating to PFF as well as people in my personal life that used me to do things for them yet never thought to think of me for anything other than their personal handy man.
Hardly anyone knows how much of an effort it is for me to come out of my comfort zone and try to interact with the "real world." For the past few months I have really isolated myself. Going to events such as Watkins Glenn and Carlisle where not easy for me, and I struggled with the idea of leaving to do so up until that very last minute when I talked myself into going. The one thing that has kept me in touch with the outside world is my interaction with the members here on PFF. Many of you are probably shaking your heads in disbelief that the things mentioned above could be so terrible that they would affect anyone the way they did me. Well, to that I don't know what to say. For the past few months, every day has been one where I either struggled to get out of bed, or had no energy to do much of anything at all. With the combination of disappointments mentioned above, I felt like the one thing that was keeping me "sane" had become like Lucy in the Charlie Brown comic strip where she pulls the football out just before he goes to kick it. Most all of you must feel that I failed in what I needed to do with the badges or whatever, but the fact that I was able to get through the past few months without sticking my head in a plastic bag filled with helium (yes, I've done some research and this is supposed to be the best way) says more to me than anything. Until you understand what it feels like to spend every day fighting the urge to commit suicide, you don't have the right to judge me. I can still hear the Stimpy comment that I should just do it- if that's your attitude, feel free to try it first.
Did I ignore this and the other thread? Yes. The last thing I wanted was to face or have to explain what I was feeling or going through. The shitty thing about trying to take one day at a time is that after a while, they turn into weeks, then months. As time goes on, you know that things are only getting worse, which makes it even more difficult to face. So, I isolated even more. There were times when I would make a post hoping that it would somehow help but it didn't. Not only did I not know how to kick myself in the ass to get things done, there were many times when the thought of trying to do so was the furthest thing from my mind.
Do I take ownership for all of this? Sure I do. How can I not. The past few days have gotten better for me and I've started to get my energy and ambition back. As much as I take ownership for all of this, I also realize that I can't blame my conscious mind for everything. I've been told that what happens is chemically based. Who knows if it has anything to do with the season or not- I don't know. What I do know is that I've gotten the ball rolling to get things taken care of. Brint has received his refund and will be getting his badges here in the next few days- how ever long it takes to get from here to there as of this mornings mail. I also made it clear in the messages I sent out that I apologized for the inconvenience and would be happy to refund any payments received for the badges- in addition to them keeping what they ordered plus an extra or more (depending on the order- Sourmug got three extra badges sent). Not to give Brint a hard time, but it's too bad he didn't mention that in his post.
Going back to the Bobadoo thing. It blows my mind that anyone could think that I would take advantage of Jerry. I understand how it could be construed, but just the same, it blows my mind. I take full credit for making it enough of a cause that people are going to meet at his place later this month to help him get his car going. It was not easy for me to decide to put myself out there and post a thread to get Jerry a running Fiero. I knew what some people would think, but I did it anyway. Now it's turned into a "he's going to run off with our money" thing. Don't worry, it won't ever happen again. I'm sure someone else can take up the cause.

I received the message from Andrew and we have discussed things. I understand that he's sending the badges (although I didn't expect 3 extra, and you really didn't have to do that Andrew) and once I have them it will all be good.
Its 100 % true to what he had said about Bobadoo fund plan

Andrew... I have something to say here. Only 1 person has said anything about you possibly taking the money from the Bobadoo fund. As a onlooker as to the ignoring of your badge thread, this thread, emails and pm's. I can understand why someone would be leary of that. I am by no means saying you would take that money, just am saying that I can see why someone would think that. I have spoken to you on the phone when you were making my sig and my show poster and I did not at any time ever get the impression that you were a crook or bad person.
I think that why a lot of people became leary of you is because you were not answering your emails, pm's and such but were still posting in other threads on the forum. Us people on the forum, who have no clue as to whats going on in your personal life, can get a little wound up about not receiving products that have been paid for. You have to understand our point of view on this too. Everyone, including myself, think very highly of you and what you have given to the Fiero community. All anyone wanted was a answer.
Now that you are taking care of the situation everyone is calm again. Does this also mean that you will me sending me that CD of the show poster image file?
Glad to hear your are working thru things. Jim

jimmys u were one bashing him the most now u are kissin his butt thats just wrong i know im new here but after reading stuff like this its no wonder why more young ppl arnt into our beloved lil toys yall run them off with stuff like this. I have some really good dealings with very few of the fiero ppl i have come across. I lived in tampa for a while and was outcasted from the club cause there tech cult leader screwed me over and I outted him for then i was the bad guy for saying he screwed me cause he could do no wrong. only 2 ppl in the club became my friends and looked past my age and we had a great time. when i would go to car shows with my car and other fieros would come up they would avoid me like the plague because i was a younger guy. sorry about the rant but i know how depression is i fight it every day so i feel for andrew alot. sorry for the rant i just think some of the ppl on here need to rethink there attitude most of the ppl on here are great guys but the few bad ones are all ppl see because they make the biggest noise.
oh and when i first moved to houston i asked for help trying to find a car and only one guy even tryed to help me i eventually was given a rx7 by my friend so i could get around so im even leary about dealing with the houston guys they havnt showed much love for a guy thats new

I have to apologize because I honestly forgot about this. Anyone that knows me knows that I can walk into another room and completely forget what I'm doing there- it happens ALL the time. I've got the DVD burned, in its case, envelope and addressed to FL for tomorrows mail. The links to upload the huge JPG and AI files are:
I've had a lot of luck with this site for speedy downloads so it should work OK for you- let me know if it doesn't. I'm a premium member, but I still think that there is only a 90 day storage life of the files if they are not downloaded. If they are, then I think the time extends. Depending on your internet speed, you may want to dl these just before you go to bed.

I remember that we had discussed this but I have to say that I never received the plenum. The one you see in my posts was purchased from papafiero:
Payment Sent (ID #0HY994543W957814E)
Name: Wally Evans Email: PapaFiero@Verizon.Net
Total Amount: -$85.00 USD
Date: Mar. 30, 2007 Time: 18:06:28 PDT Status: Completed
Subject: Payment for Powder coated plelum Note:
Thank you so much, Andrew
I can honestly say that if it was sent to my house, I would have been here to get it. Double check with your sender to see what might have happened. If there is anything I can do to help figure it out I will, but since I don't have any more information about it, I really don't know what I can do. I'm at a total loss on this one.

Ok Andrew. Now that everything's all cleared up on your stuff, what have you done with Timo (Fiero1Fan)? . . . . . Just kidding. Seriously though. Getting concerned as to what may have happened with him. He seems to have just disappeared. Hope he's ok.

I hope this is not a bash at me! I tried to set up a Caravan to Carlisle, this year when we were at Watkins Glen. I got together with everyone that I knew, and explained the plan . After PM'ing a few people, it was realized everyones times didn't work out. And the last post I seen from you was that you were leaving Saturday morning. I had reservations for Friday night and couldn't reschedule them.
