i understand that the air comes from the bottom and out the vents.wouldn't those scoops pictured disrupt the airflow forcing it in back thru the vents? i have a couple of indy pace car style scoops on 2 of my gt's but i didn't cut holes in the engine hood for that reason as the scoop was meant for a turbo intake, not engine air cooling.they're just for looks.i could be wrong.jesse

You have to be going very fast I believe to actually get a ram-air effect out of the scoops. Someone here does actually have a proven Ram-Air over the roof scoop, but if I remember correctly it only provides any real help at race-track speeds.

What is your current setup that is starving the 350?

Actually, the entire concept of ram-air has been proven to be snake oil time and time again. Years ago I know Hotrod Magazine said that they didn't see even a measurable difference between an open element and ram air until the 140's. Just about every performance magazine on the rack has written something about it.

i really dont car if its "ram air" i just want air getting to the carb, and an open hole in the wind with a pipe to the intake area will get me air, might not be ram air but its air eather way
