I'm looking for the plastic vacuum lines for a 2.8. I thought I've seen them before, but now that I'm looking for them I can't find them.
Specifically, I'm looking for the ones that run from the vacuum regulator to the throttle body..... but would like to find a source for pretty much any vacuum line that I may need. The more I look into this engine, the more vacuum lines I'm finding either melted in half, broke, or non-existant.

So if someone here knows of an acceptable substitute, or correct replacements, please aim me in the right direction. Thanks! -- Mike

Edit-- $127 is a bit more than I wanted to spend, but has anybody here used Rodney Dickmans stainless steel lines??

I have and they work great. Easy to clean out too. Use brakecleaner and no worry about them desolving.

I suppose if you could find your own tube and work for a WHILE you could make the same thing, but wow it's worth it sometimes just to get a box in the mail.

I installed Rodney's stainless vacuum tubes also and I'm glad I did. When I took the upper and lower intakes off, I managed to break a few of the new plastic tubes that were previously installed. The stainless looks great and I'll never worry about them again. At $119 plus shipping, that's only about 48 Big Macs!

If you plan on keeping your stock engine, you can't go wrong with Rodney's lines. I got the powdercoated ones several years ago and boy am I glad I did...those old lines were getting really brittle, and I know that I would have been fixing them over and over again as the engine required more attention.
