Anyone interested in a full Getrag swap? It's located in Indianapolis, IN. I'll include: -perfect running low mile 5 speed Getrag (30Kish) -slave (6 months old) -clutch line (no rust) -master cly (year old, new bango) -petal -shifter -shifter cables -tranny brackets -axles -and everything else i'm forgetting that goes along with it. I'll have pics up soon.
Thanks, Ryan

Does it come with a clutch? Anything else I'd need to put it into a '88 GT?
I have a spec 3 clutch I can include for an extra $235. Only 200 miles on it! As i'm taking it apart, I'll include any brackets/bolts/hardware involved in the swap.

And flywheel? What about the little bezel for the shifter in the interior? And does it come with full pedal assembly?
I'm very interested in it all if it can be shipped.

Yep, I'll include the flywheel and the shifter bezel as well. When I start taking it off i'm sure i'll find some other little parts to go along with it too. Pedal assembly is included... The safety switch on the clutch pedal broke awhile back. I took the 2 wires going to it and wired it up to a hidden switch. So, the switch has to be on to start the car and the pedal doesn't have to be pressed in to crank it. I'll check through my parts to see if I have a extra safety. I'm sure I do some where. I'll post some pics for you tomorrow.
Thanks, Ryan

Not trying to discourage you but if you're converting an auto to a manual you'll need the tubing line that runs from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder too. That is something that's about impossible to ship because it can't be bent, shouldn't be cut and is about 8 feet long.
Just be prepared to find one in a junker (and flush it well) or be good with a tubing bender. You'll want to do the first one.

If you already have the 4 spd you should be okay.
I've shipped a full clutch line before. I rolled it up into a nice size circle WITHOUT kinking it, and 0 damage to it. I'm sure many others on the forum have done this before. I do my research before I post, but I guess others don't.

An earlier flywheel will not work. The balancing will be off, since the 88 is internally balanced, and the earlier years are not. You'll need an 88 flywheel, or an 89 or later 3.1 flywheel from a Cavalier or Beretta.
