Hi Guys,

I have a Gear Reduction Mini Starter for a V8 swap. (Suitable for an Archie Kit) and a 1987 GT front bumper. Actually, it's from and SE but it's that "GT nose style".

Pics to follow.

Looking for $70 for the Starter (Brand New) and $70 for the nose.

Pics to follow.

Hey there Chris.

I think we both got tied up last time and kept missing each other.

They are the same ones. Glad I caught you.

Brian

I'm considering a mini starter for the 4.9. I know this one is sold, but if it fits the 4.9 - Fiero trans swap, please provide the manufacturer and part number. Thanks.

Hi,

I think the only numbers on the top was a check off box for either the standard finish or the "show" finish which was a gloss black body with a polished end cap).

I purchased it from a local speed shop. They have a great reputation for the quality of their performance parts. The style was like the Powermaster that Archie suggests using but it was not a Powermaster.

I had a Powermaster on the last swap and this starter's quality was superior in the quality of the finish of the body, end cap etc. I know some of these speed shops seem to have their own "branding" of certain parts like cams, headers etc. I'm guessing they have them manufactured by some major manufacturer.

I'll see if I have any paperwork here that may help you out.
