If anyone is looking to do a Northstar engine swap, I have a good running Northstar engine & trans from a '95 Deville for sale. Car only had 80k miles.

Starter was acting up, so would need changing. I can replace starter & intake gaskets for cost of parts & modest labor charge.

Engine comes with engine wiring harness.....from ECM connectors to the fuse area.

Also comes with front accessories......alternator, AC comp., etc.

I can get pics on request.

EDIT: Pricewise..... $850/best.

If you're asking about a Fiero - Northstar engine swap, I have yet to do that.

Done plenty of engine work & swaps on other stuff.

I just got word from him that it will be ok to ship to his work. He mentioned it to his warehouse mgr. - not only did he say it was ok, but that they'd keep it off to the side for at least a week, if necessary. All he asks is a 'minimum' of a $20 tip.

It would be just the engine. I'm still looking around locally because a 96-99 would be better suited to the ECM I'm using but I'll let you know if nothing turns up locally.

I'd be interested in just the trans depending on the code. It should be 3 or 4 large letters on a tag. How much shipped to 48114 bussiness?

This tranny is still attached to the Vin Y engine. I'll check the actual code.

I also have a 94 ETC Vin 9 4T80e with about 40k miles on it. It's a GM Service Replacement trans. Price is $450 on that one.

Shipping (incl. palletizing) is $150.

A friend of mine went to UTI and apparently was very good at wiring. I asked him if he thought he could tackle repinning the wiring for most any engine swap. He said it shouldn't be a problem. He's checking on doing a SC3800 engine & tranny into an 88 LeSabre.

Let me think on it a bit. I've read some threads and its a little more work than I was thinking. If we were just talking a few hundred dollars I would pick it up just to have but as it is now its a pretty fair amount of money to have tied up into a project that I'm not sure I'd ever get to. I bought this '87 4cyl as a fun car for my wife to drive around in and I'm not sure she would like it with Northstar in it but it would be a fun project to do.
