I'm selling my Fiero.
(Automatic Formula)

Info:

There's Good and Bad and "ehhh".

The Bad first:
The engine is shot. Connecting Rod. around 82,000 miles. (I'll hafta check the exact amount)

The Good:
Body looks good, Paint is 8/10, I would say. Some frame rust (Surface rust typical of a NY car)
The Alt is new (less then 2,00 miles on it)
Cat is 2,000 miles old.
It has the Decah VDC Door Hinges (I will include a NEW set of the DECAH "Heavy duty" struts)
The AC blows COLD!
Stereo is decent. CD PLayer with Line in for Mp3 players... lights up red, matches the interior lights
The interior is in good shape, no issues with the corners of the dash, no hole in driver side seat, and
the center console looks good...Carpet isn't a show acr, but it's not too bad. Headliner is intact. No sunroof leaks.
Power Windows work.
Windows are tinted, and in good shape.
No Transmission issues.
Power door locks work.
Power trunk lock works.
Cruise control works.(well, when the ENGINE used to, anyway)
FieroStore slotted rotors and brake pads (less then 1,000 miles on 'em)
tires have 90% of their wear left.
Never been smoked in/ never ate bacon in it.
The "Ehhh"
It would hafta get towed. (I'll be keeping it in my Garage.)

The driver side light is a bit "winky" sometimes (it opens and closes if you have the hood up)
(I will include that Dickman metal headlight gear kit with the car)
It's got a decal on the hood. 2 toned Pegasus (Silver/black)

It's a good car other then the engine.

I just have:

No time to work on it
No space to work on it
No money to invest in it

If you are interested in buying it, PM me. Any questions, lemme know. I'll take any pics you want. (except for naughty pictures with me on the hood)

I'm not too interested in parting her out. I don't wanna donate it, though. I'd prefer to see another Fiero Driver do a swap and keep her alive...

This is basically what she looks like:

You already know everyone's gonna ask, so:

What do you want for it?

-fh

p.s. And you already know there are people that would pay extra for the pics of you on the hood...

Yep, how much for it and is it a 5spd? What's the most economical way to tow/trailer it to Houston?

I'll treat it right with a 3.4 DOHC that is sitting around!

I seem to have missed the location and some details.
It looks great.

My '85SE notchie needs a bunch of work and it looks like the sum of the parts is significantly more than what a replacement would cost me.
Ideally I'd like to find something with a Series II (or III) 3.8SC and very solid mechanics (Auto tranny is fine) and a totally shot body and interior. I'd drop the replacement interior and the XTC body kit. It would cost a fortune to start from scratch with my '85 and most of what I've seen for replacements have nice bodies and interiors that would be shameful to scrap. Ah... the champain dreams.

$2,000.

You'd hafta:
1. Tow it away.
2. Do the headlight repair
3. install the new VDC Struts.

Yeah, it's not a bad deal, imo... the hinges alone cost around 1500, then the install, then the struts...

(as silly as it sounds, I would like to keep the hood... )

if I were closer I'd be more than happy to wrench on it for you. I hate it when people have to get rid of thier fiero's for reasons like this.

Just wondering, where'd you get that hood decal from?

Yeah, it stinks, it's just bad timing.

Paul Mckibben makes them, (single color) I wanted one that was two-toned, and he and I worked it out...

Pull the door hinges and sell the car stock then sell the hinges. I think you will have better response.

The hinges are welded on, and I no longer have the stock hinges. Thanks for the advice, though.

Makes for a lovely planter. Your kids can play in it and pretend they're in a spaceship!

You can push it around the yard and build huge muscles...

Somehow, I believe that would detract from the value of the car...

Heck, it took me MONTHS to get rid of the smell embedded in the driver's seat after Paris took the car for a spin...

talk about "crotch rot"!
