Ok so I'm giving up on ever having the money to show the Indy, plus I'm tired of the BS from guys like Todd (see https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/087545.html ). I also need the money 'cause I haven't been able to work much the past 3 weeks, so I'm selling the collector items I bought. All I want for them is what I paid for them + shipping.
1) '84 Indy program. $18
2) 2 tickets: '84 ticket; '85 ticket with pic of Rick Mears ('84 winner) & his car AUTOGRAPHED by him. $56.50 for both tickets.
3) 3 Indy 500 buttons; one is '84 glow-in-the-dark. $5 (SOLD)
4) The Inndianapolis Star newspaper the day before the '84 race. Souvenior Edition with all the grid listed & lots of other info (totaly devoted to the race). $28.50 (SOLD)
5) Article from march '84 Hot Rod magazine entitled "Fast Paced. Hot Lapping Indy in Pontiac's 138-mph Fiero Pace Car". $15.90
I also have a "Legends of Indy" card w/'84 pace car that I will give to the first person to spend more than $50.
If you want any of them you can PM me or email me at ImThaDriver at yahoo. Will be glad to send pics.
Thanks,
~ Paul
aka "Tha Driver"

EDIT: I'll sell the original wheels (w/tires) off of it too. I really don't give a flying duck if I ever put it back original. Looks great with the Borbets. Best reasonable offer.

In other words, I was right about why you flaked on the auction you bid on and won but never paid for. BTW, OhioIndy bought the mats and is very pleased, fortunately for you.

Word of advice. Despite the different political view I have with many forum members you will find that most of them universally acknowledge my value as a Fiero enthusiast and mechanic. I have helped countless Fiero owners with their parts and repair needs over the many years I have been active on this forum. And bashing me for doing nothing more than insisting that you pay for the goods you bid on and won and then decided you couldn't afford anymore is in no way going to help elevate you or endear you to the forum no matter HOW you try to justify your actions as OK in your own mind. I strongly suggest an attitude adjustment before it's too late.

Grow up by minding your own business Rick. In case you didn't notice, he called me out by name. I have a right to respond.

Stop Todd you positively misrepresented your item and then added a photo at the last second. So someone bought them and thats great, but atleast they new what they were buying. Now let the guy tell the truth and get his stuff sold.

STOP it RICK. The guy who actually ended up buying the mats disagrees with you. So now you have TWO people who have actually SEEN the mats who say you two are full of **** . The "TRUTH" as you call it is stated above, The kid ran out of money. He said so in his own words. If he wantd to sell his stuff he could have done so without bringing up my name. Now get lost! For the last time this is NONE of your business unless you are really an alterego of Paul using a different PFF Id.

I'm sorry Toddd you are correct. I didn't realize anyone else said you were correct so I take it all back and bow my head to your dominance. Thank you for putting me in my place I will now run and hide so Dave can sell his stuff. Sniff Sniff. Rick

P.S. if you get a chance send me Mikes email saying I was wrong. I would honestly like to see it so I can apoligize to him.

I paid $50 for a damn TICKET. You think I can't afford to buy a couple FLOOR MATS???
After your BS I just decided to spend my money on my other projects, not the car that already looks great & I can drive with pride.
I didn't bash you. I posted a pic asking for opinions on the condition of the mat. YOU'RE the one that started the BS.

Edit: Fortunately for me? How? You're STILL going to leave me negative feedback.
Too late? For WHAT? You coming here to bash my head in? Bring an army.

You're such an idiot. The TRUTH is that the guy who bought your mats - OhioIndy - AGREES with *everyone* here EXCEPT you that the mats WERE NOT A 9 out of 10. He said (& I QUOTE): "And for the record they are NOT a 9, if they are the ones I got 2 years ago on E bay are a 15".
Yes I don't have the money now to buy ALL the parts I need for ALL my cars. I HAD the money to buy your mats & STILL HAVE if I wanted to buy *nice* mats for it. After your BS I just no longer want to waste my time & money on a *nice* car that I'm proud to drive, when I have the custom Fiero, the Lightweight Solo Fiero, the V8 Z car, the mid-engine VW Cabriolet, & a couple other cars to build.
Keep posting, though: It'll keep my ad on top. And show folks what an idiot you really are.

Paul you pay for them, when you get them if you don’t want them I’ll give you what you have in them.
You give Todd a good feedback
And Todd you give Paul a good feedback and the case is closed.
I’m willing to do this because I was thinking about bidding on them but I didn’t.
And for the record they are not a 9 if they are the ones I got 2 years ago on E bay are a 15

You are the last person to be bringing up negative ratings.

Edit to add....
I paid Todd $1 more than you bid.
I said I didn't want to snipe you... but in hind sight i should have.

Why is that? Where do you see any negaive ratings or feedback for me? There is ONE company that left me a negative on egay out of ALL the stuff I've bought there, & they only left it because I left THEM a negative (against egay rules BTW, but of course they did nothing about it).
Of course Toddquer said he's given me a negative here (only one I know of), & I'm sure he'll give me another on egay. But I'll ask again: Why should I be the last person to bring up negative ratings?

I have everything that you are selling already (except for the buttons, and I read this thread too late to get those).
Good luck with selling them, there is probably someone who will want them. You may think about selling the on eBay, even though you obviously don't like them, but here you will only find Indy fans that would want that stuff for 1984, on eBay you will be able to reach Indy 500 fans in general that collect from all years, not just '84.

Too bad you let one bad incident keep you from making a good display to show along with your Indy.

I'm thinking there will be some items that I can't sell, so I'll use them to display & hit some local shows next year that don't cost very much. I was going to do the World Of Wheels with the local club but it costs $50 & takes up too much time (plus the WOW folks can be real jerks sometimes). I just decided that I'd rather have the money to put into parts for the other cars than things that sit on the shelf & do me no real good. It's going to be a LOT more fun *driving* the cars than showing them, & I have very little fun anymore. I *really* want to get these cars done before I die.
