ok as cryptic as that was I am looking for a few parts for my Upcoming SBC swap. Looking for: Oil Filter relocator Carburator 650CFM or up Fuel pressure regulator Will cover shipping for/ take off your hands any other parts in reasonably ok shap for an SBC. good opportunity for anyone looking to free up some space in thier workshop as well as help a noobie get a few spare parts lined up for working on a new engine/conversion. I'm not realy trying to get an handouts just know I have alot of stuff to gather and a very limited cash supply with which to acquire it all. Just kinda hoping someone out thier might have a few of my looking for parts kicking around they would be willing to part with. also that maybe someone has a few spare SBC/350 parts that are just going to waste sitting on a shelf somewhere cause they didn't end up needing them or they swapped them out for another option. ------------------ S.A.R.S. on a side note I have this swap going into a 88 fiero with a run down duke, I know the fuel pump for the duke doesn't supply as much PSI will i still need the fuel pressure regulator for this pump to keep the carb from flooding?

yes, you want to keep the fuel PSI for the carb to 5-7psi. ------------------ Keith Topsail Beach,NC 86&87 Fiero GT 86&96 Corvette 04 Harley Davidson Softail 73 Lotus Europa Twin Cam 86 Lotus Turbo Esprit "He who dies with the most toys wins!!!"

Thanx for the prompt response on that. yeah i knew it was in that range for required psi but wasn't sure if the stock duke fuel pump will excede that psi

I would also try and find a regulator that has a return line, my first regulator didn't and it wouldn't hold a steady pressure like the one I have now. I think the spring wears out faster on a dead head regulator.

Here's a shot of the carb and kit. I'll check on shipping as soon as I can. I am sure it is a 4160, but I need to find out what the CFM is so you know what you are getting. I think it is 600cfm. If so, will that do?

It's just one of those battery powered 4x4's. The kids played with it for about 3.5 minutes, so it became my toy. The carb wouldn't fit in it, so the carb is for sale

Looking good Just got the motor yesterday exact mileage unknown but around 10k since last rebuild i'm going to fully rebuild it myself as well just to be safe as it was a hell of a price from one of the junkyards I just happend to stop into.
Saxman that carb looks good to me. hell of alot better then the tiny lil stock carb that came on the engine.
In the next day or so i'm going to go ever the engine to see what needs replacing from the initial look i had at the engine I know I should replace the oil pan as its got some serface rust and a few dents, the HEI needs to be replaced as well as the thermostat.
here is my as of now "wish list"
Oil pan for SBC swap Thermostat HEI Water pump (prefer electric) Alternator Vortech heads (big wishlist but not needed) Timing gears (I figure with a mystery engine it would be a good idea to replace the timing chain and might as well switch to gears while i'm at it)
this is all i can think of off the top of my head but i'm sure i'll come across more once i get a chance to go over the motor more.
