to answer some of the questions. This is for an 86 and up engine. Year of car won't matter. if you have an 85 or older small block chevy, you will require a different, neutral balance flywheel. which means, you will have to buy a different flywheel. Keep in mind when you buy a new kit, you will pay an extra $150 for the later model flywheel. Making the basic kit $1100 new for an 86 and up sbc.
This will also work with an lt1 engine. The adapter, flywheel, starter and oil filter relocation kit will work. I don't know about the engine mount and I know you will use the balancer from your Lt1 engine. You will need axles for the lt1 too.
