Like the title says, I'm doing a 3800sc swap. I'm looking for the flywheel already drilled for this swap for a 4spd manual. Let me know if you have any other 4spd parts needed to go from automatic to manual. Thanks (even if you have a spec 3 clutch for this swap let me know) ------------------

Dan and I have sent some pms back and forth and he mentioned having some 4spd stuff.
I was just wondering if somebody had a modified flywheel for this swap already and maybe they didnt go through with it. I'm looking to really try and do this on a budget. The manual swap is pretty much the only thing killing my budget right now. Between the flywheel, the clutch, the transmission itself and all the necessary parts, its expensiveee. I guess the budget way would be to throw an automatic in there but if I'm going to do the swap I want to do it the way I dreamed it up.
I'm a student but Im busting my b*lls this summer to try and get this swap in order. I want it more than anything...

i know autos kind suck azz...but if your on a budget it will be the cheapest way to go...myself if i have another swap done i am going the auto route..why?? cuz i want to build about 350hp at the wheels and i know a manual tranny wont last...are you going to build your engine up at all??? if so thats something to think about..my 4 spd set up is pretty basic with only a N* TB and a 3.5 pulley....i dunno if i would trust it with a higher HP number just for reliability issues...plus the thought of sourcing out a newish 4 spd every other year isnt going to be cost effective..if your car is auto now i would suggest leave it that way...you can then divert those funds toward engine upgrades which will make you forget about your setup being auto...just something to think about....tim

I understand the issues people have with manual transmissions and this engine. Im not looking to break any power records here or quarter mile times. I just want decent power and the fun of a manual. I'll probably do a pulley and nice exhaust somewhere down the road. Nothing major...

Hey, I have one here in sarnia if you want it. I was installing a 3800 series one, but decided to go forward with my northstar again. I just payed $70 for the flywheel and $20 to have it machined down to .84. So if ya can do $90 let me know.
