The car is definately worth $500. I checked it out today and it runs terrific. Cosmetically it has seen better days but all in all I'd say it's worth between $1,000 and $1,500 easy. Good tires, brakes, shocks, steering, 40+ oil pressure at idle when hot, transmission shifted nice and crisp.
I will buy the car tomorrow so that she can head to Nebraska and not have to worry about it selling. But I already have 5 Fieros. So I don't need another. It will still be for sale for $500 until it sells.
The first 500 gets it. You should be able to make payments to yourself for a couple weeks and come up with $500 if you really want it.

Looks like he got a pretty good deal. If you were closer, I would have considered it for a daily driver. Hell, I paid almost that for my last parts car.
GKDINC and I went with dudewithoutfiero to get this car. Well worth the $500 in our opinion. Needs work but mostly cosmetic. May take him some time but it has the potential to be a very sweet ride.
Thank you, hope you enjoy it. It means a lot to me that someone will continue to drive it and enjoy it as much as I did. Maybe if everything works out, I will be able to see it again someday. Thanks again.
i couldn't have got a better deal if i tried. i am planning to fix the mechanical stuff it needs, which isn't very much. a hood vent will be made, one of a kind. the hood vent will have a build thread when it is finish for the people who like it. this car will be my baby. thank you to GKDINC and JimmyS for helping me out. hope fully the hood vent will be done in time for run to the keys.

If you had not gotten her first Dude, I was ready to borrow/beg or steal to get the $$ to bring that fine looking vehicle home and have a matched pair of 86 se's. Best of luck with her mods and general fix up's that we all need when we get up in age. Please don't foget to post your build threads
