What you are looking at is a pair of t-top glass jigs; these were used to set the glass to the glass bar after it came out of the glass press. Once the urethane had cured over night they would be removed. We acquired these back in 1999 when we bought out C&C of all of the t-top parts. I am cleaning out the shop and these need to go one way of the other. This will be the first and only time I’m going to make these available. I have about 50 sets of these they all have been used, as you can see in the photo. The urethane will peel off if you wish to clean them up. You now have a chance to pick up a rare piece of the Fiero t-top history. These weight almost 1 pound each. Note someone did not know how to spell Pontiac!
$15.00 per set, free shipping in the lower 48 only PayPal payments can go to tim@ fieroparts.com
Besides the "Historic value" of it, does it have any real use ? Are there any more new glass units left (I think you have some P/S ones)
Thanks.
Like with any jig, once the item is assembled they serve no other purpose. I thought I would offer these to the t-top guys before they get disposed of. The 8 remaining left hand side ones, (knowing these will never get reproduced) are for my cars down the road. Only 29 remain of the right hand side for sale.

There was a T-Top Fiero sold on ebay a few days ago with a broken D/S (left hand) glass broken...That render it useless for the buyer, unless he finds one. I should insure just the T-Top glass for $1000.

I have said this to all my customers over the past 20 years if you have the chance to buy a new part now and have it for that rainy day, do it! Same thing holds true with the t-top parts. P-seals will not be around for long, RH glass should be sold out in 9-12 months, sold 6 RH glass blanks in the last 3 weeks, usually it’s 2 a month. front molding trim will be gone by the end of the year, CJB glass weather strips should be gone in 2-3 years. Rear moldings, drip edges, center bars, trim caps, lock trim, non-CJB glass weather strips, all roof weather strips, over head map light trim are all long gone.

So its a pretty big pain to take a piece from a blank, attach your pieces and create a finished t-top panel?
Yes. I watched Tim assemble some T-Top panels years ago, after he bought the stock from Farmont Skylite, and it is a royal PITA....even with the original jigs & press.
