I am parting out an 85 GT, with a few extra parts (old link: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/043189.html)

The car is complete. I am trying to diagnose a problem of why it won't turn over (turns freely with a ratchet, but nothing happens when you turn the key)
No A/C, has sunroof, hoping to have the car gone soon

Car:

Features:
New CS105 alternator with clip
New starter
5 speed getrag
Fresh hydraulic clutch line from master to slave (muncie slave)
Grand Am GT wheels
SOLD: Stainless brake lines (full set with distribution block, originally from Fiero Store, then from a fellow member)
SOLD: Braided brake hoses on all 4 corners

Extra parts:
$20 for 85-87 2.8 flywheel:

$20 for V6 y-pipe:

Make an offer, send me an email, or if you're local (to Oshawa/GTA) follow the links to my Kijiji ad and pass by.
I will still consider selling the car as a whole, or as a semi-parted car (offers from scrappers offered anywhere from 75 to 175 for the remains afterwards, and I'd rather see it go to someone that can use it for that price).

Thanks
John

I hope you're not seriously parting it out because the starter won't turn the engine over.

Throw a good battery in it and go turn the key.

Does it click but not start?

We can figure this out in a few minutes worth of messaging!

It doesn't click, at all, so I'm thinking there may be a problem with the wire going to the starter.

I'm parting it out because I can jump through the holes in my frame! And my student driveway is overflowing of vehicles, and I am starting to put money away to buy a certain Pontiac vehicle that is now allowed in Canada, next spring.
I also want it to run, so I can check out the engine, and ensure that the outer parts work fine. I won't sell anyone parts, saying that they work fine, if I don't know.

My starter is new, as is my battery. If you can let me know precisely where everything hooks up from and too to rig up a jump for the starter, that would be greatly appreciated!

I will have to get back to you on that. I don't quite have the space or the resources to haul a frame away without rolling wheels.

how much for the winshield wiper cowl (cover, it has the vent screens)
how much for the gauge cluster (is it the 120mph speedo?)
I also need the DRIVERSIDE inside dew wipe mount bracket, AND the ECM PORT / Cigarete Lighter mounting bracket.
Do you have the original stereo and the original sub box?
How much for a package deal ? shipped to 13212
Thanks

I was inquiring about the gauge cluster too, but if it`s an 85 GT it`s probably an 85 speedo like mine.

The speedo is a 140km/h speedo (did Canadian cars come with something else?). Either way, I'll give TXGOOD first crack at it if he wants it. 50+Shipping

Wiper cowl, 10+Shipping (will be a pain pack up however, I should be able to find a way)
I should be able to do the dew wipe bracket and the ecm/cig lighter bracket. The stereo is original, but I dont know where the sub box is mounted in the car. I'll see what I can do. If I find everything for you Mark, then I'll send everything your your way for 80+Shipping. Minus the gauge cluster, I'll do 40+Shipping

Oh, I didn`t realize you were in Canada.
I`m not smart enough to constantly convert KPH to MPH
so I`ll pass on the cluster.
Thanks anyway.

Bump,

Will hopefully be able to add more pictures and items tomorrow.

Mark: I should be able to get the wipe cowl, the dew wipe bracket, and the other bracket for you. My car doesn't have the sub box, so I'm not sure if the stereo's are the same.

Thanks,
John

The left headlight works perfectly, the right headlight goes up, but not down. I will pm you if a local guy doesn't take them.
