I have for sale a set of block hugger style headers that have been heavily modified to fit a Fiero with a small block chevy/4T60(E) or 4t80e auto transmission. They worked fine with my 355 ci but, being 1 1/2 inch primaries were not big enough for my 420 ci "mighty mouse" now installed. The front (1, 3, 5, 7 side) header remains stock except the collector flange is angled about 45 deg towards the front of the motor to go under the oil pan like stock. On the other side all 4 primaries are pie cut and lifted up to clear the gearcase of a GM overdrive transmission. They are painted with dupicacolor silver header paint and baked in an oven to cure the paint Price is $100 plus shipping. Contact me for a shipping quote.

Here is a picture of the headers with the pipes I also have for sale for $25 more. I have been asked if this setup will work with a standard transmission and it will.

Headers look a lot like the one I made! So what did you find for a replacement? I'm still searching for larger tube headers that don't interfere with the axles. Then I can get ceramicoated ones. Thanks, Jurell
Jurell: I built custom headers from scratch. I used Stahl pattern adapters, new flanges that were cut from 3/8 steel, 12 1 7/8 J bends, and 1 7/8 collectors. Everything but the J bends that were bought from Summit was bought on Ebay. For those of you wondering what Stahl adapters are they change the bolt pattern of the header flange to allow bigger tubes. They have 7 bolts unstead to the stock 6. The end tubes have a staggered. one up, one down pattern and the middle two tubes have 3 bolts, one on top and two on the bottom. This elimanates the problem getting to the inside bolts on the outside tubes on small block chevy. The collectors are 3 1/2 which dumps into 3 in pipe with custom built cut out pipes and electric cut outs. the muffler is a Flowmaster duel in, duel out, made for a early Camaro with tailpipes exiting out the sides. The materials cost about $500,(not including the muffler, which I allready had) and the exhaust system took about 40 hours to build. You should here 420 cubic inches threw open cut outs with a hyd. roller cam with lots of duration!!!!!

Still for sale Sorry I did not take any pictures of the headers when the drivetrain was on the saw horses. Wish I did. In the car it is very hard to see anything as they are wrapped with fiberglass header tape to hold down under hood temperatures.
