Saxman, how far are you from Reading PA? I may be interested in driving to pick up some stuff, like the wheels (provided the tires are decent)...I can make you a list and PM it off...
Are the ashtrays still there? And are they all the same throughout the years? will they fit an 88?
EDIT: Are the wheels the lace style ones? I am really trying to find the black lace ones with the chrome/polished lip....

I'll take some pics of the wheels, ashtrays and other stuff tomorrow for you. One of the ashtray lids is broken, but the other one slides open just fine. The wheels on this car are not the lace ones, but I know the ones in my shed are lace. Not sure about the polished lips yet.
If there is anything else you are after, let me know and I will take more pics. The roof/seals, instrument pod, wiper motor and some other parts are gone. I have another set of wheels/tires in the shed, so I'll take pics of them, too.

Here are the lace/polished wheels. I need to research what to charge for them, but I have to go to work right now. The tread is deep and the rims are pretty nice - just dirty right now from being in the shed.
Here is the rim design of the wheels currently on the parts car. The tires are dry rotted.

Saxman, I only need the metal inserts for the ashtrays. As for the rims, the ones that are on my car now are the same as the ones on the parts car, and the lace ones you posted pics of are the exact same ones I am looking for....
I may be interested in some other stuff too, I will have to look and see what I need and get back to you...

If those black lace wheels are from an '87, they may not fit on an '88. The offset on the front pair of '88 wheels is different than any other year. Doug

I got the wheels with (not on) an 87 I bought a while back. The guy had bought them to put on his 87. I can measure the offset and compare it to the rear wheels on my 88 (since they are off right now). If there is no difference, does that mean these are for an 87 and older car?
I guess I can just measure all 4 of these and if 2 are different, they are 88's, right?
Thanks, MyTime!

These wheels are definitely grey in the lace area, not black. There is no difference in wheels marked within the rim. All numbers accept the serial #'s match, so I don't think there is any offest difference. The tires are 205's and 215's - BF Goodrich.

I am wondering then if these will work for me. I can only imagine that they are 15" rims correct? seeing as stock tire size for the 15's is 205/60 on the fronts and 215/60 on the back from what I have been able to come up with.
If I can get a definate answer as to if they will work or not, I will take them. If they won't work, mark me down for the ashtray liners for certain. I will have to get back to you also on the ICM, coil packs, and tach filter later. Need to research if they will work on an 88 also. The 87 did have DIS correct?

The 88 wheels are a little narrower up front due to the geometry being changed. The '88 front lace wheel polished lip is flush with the honeycombed section. The back wheels have a raised polished lip like all the other lace wheels. They're easy to tell apart. The only reason I know is because I just bought a set.

fcossegi, I know there IS one there, but I don't know the condition. If you want that, you may have to come pull it yourself for $20. The car is outside, but I have a cherry picker and jacks/jackstands you can use.
Judging from the overall condition of the rest of the car, I would guess it is OK, but I haven't been under the car and don't plan to go further underneath than the cradle (which I may pull and replace with my rusted-out 88 cradle for the salvage yard to pick up).

You got it boss I will take them regardless. As I mentioned, I am going to blast them and paint them anyway with some high temp black paint.... Or find a cheap powder coater Not too worried about the rust, doesn't look like it affected anything.
Thanks again, and check your PM's. Think I have something else I want from you.
