catch is that the bellhousing has a crack
this trans was in my l67 swapped fiero, i had a broken rear tranny bracket, and my dogbone broke aswell, thus: putting all the load on the tranny and the movment caused the bellhousing to push and cracked the case
this happened as i was pulling out of my driveway one morning going to work, i drove the car to work and home, about 10 miles of using all 5 gears, and reverse
it still shifted nicley, thru all the gears, only issue was the clutch didnt like having sybncromesh all over it so it was slipping under meduim load
but like i said, everything still shifted nice and smooth,
if someone has a spare bellhousing this would make a good tranny
i get good shipping rates thru my work, i could ship it probibly anywhere in the US for arround $45-$50 via UPS
if there is any intrest i can clean it up and get better pics,
i dont know what to ask for a price, but make a reasonable offer if intrested
im not sure what year the tranny is but it has a screw in dipstick, not a flip over locking one
mileage is unknown, when i had it i put like 3K miles on it always was in top shape, and i changed the fluid twice once after i first got it just because i was unsure of the last time it was done,
and the fluid came out real clean, no chunke or not real metallic
and the 2nd time was early this spring just a few hundred miles before it faild
again it was looking just like it did when i put it in
