Hi all, I'm in the process of doing a fastback conversion and I need one mare part...the mounts that bolt to the struts and hold the vents down. I have the notchie parts and a 2.8 parts motor if anybody is interested in trades.

What year there is a difference between the earlier years and the 88's.

the car is a 86 and the fastback clip is from either an 87 or 88....I have the notchback clip already off the car, so I dont thing ill need any help but thanks for the offer Pontiackid.

I have a pair of NB vent mounts from an 85 GT. I believe they are the same as with the FB style. ( I have both in my garage and can check that, only the ones from the NB are available). I willl check the two versions against each other to make sure they are compatible. Let me know if this will help.

You have a p/m - shawnhalolush

You need brackets off a 86 or 87 GT. A 88 GT and a 85 GT both use different brackets.

Yep. Pretty much sold. Waiting for some work on them, then gotta get the m/o, then theyre out the door!

I am getting ready to go out and sandblast and paint them in a couple minutes. I just got home from work.
