Hi Everyone,
I just cut out the battery tray still attached to the 1/4 sheetmetal from my rust-free '88. I'm moving the battery to the front, & cut out the sheetmetal for a side scoop. These peices are so hard to find rust-free that I took the time to drill out the spot welds so that someone else could use them on their car. Came out very cleanly, with just a couple jagged cuts. Perfect to replace the entire area on a car with rusted out battery tray & sheetmetal. $75 + shipping.

What do you mean by sheet metal? Are you talking about the battery support? The battery tray is only a $18.78 part from monster parts. I'm a little confused, could you post some pics?

I'm talking about the inner 1/4 panel - the sheetmetal between the upper & lower frame rails; between the body & shock tower. It's the sheetmetal the battery tray welds to. I have it all in one peice. The Fiero store gets c$85 just for the battery tray. Not sure what you're looking at on monster parts.

As stated above, it includes the sheetmetal 1/4 panel that the battery tray welds to. So it's the battery tray, still welded to the 1/4 sheetmetal, ready to weld in (or rivet if you don't have a welder) to replace the entire area. If you want a pic let me know.
