I made a small batch of my custom hood vents, and have a couple left over. Some people on the forum have expressed interest in them, so I thought I'd give you a chance to snag one.

They're made from hand-laid fiberglass, with a white gel coat and white primer. I've done some of the prep work for you. So you only need to do minor prep work. You might have to fill a few pinholes. Then you spray on a high-build primer and sand it smooth, and it's ready for paint. (the sanding and primer should be done after it's installed in the hood)

In order to install one of these hood vents, you will need to cut a hole in your hood and bond the hood vent in place using fiberglass or body panel adhesive. The process will be similar to how I installed my own hood vent.

Here are a few photos of the hood vents:

As you can see, I cut out the vent opening. The vent opening is approximately 19.5" wide and 2.5" tall. I left a flange around the vent opening, so you can install mesh screen if you wish. The hood vent's overall dimensions are approximately 26" wide, 15.5" front to back, and 3" deep.

** THE PRICE FOR EACH HOOD VENT IS $89.99 + SHIPPING **

NOTES:

1) I accept Paypal, money orders, and cashier's checks as payment.
2) I can ship to anywhere in the USA, or APO/FPO boxes. Shipping to Canada will involve extra time and expense. I will NOT ship anywhere outside the USA or Canada.
3) I'm open to trades, if you have something I want. Here's a list of what I need:
  • A set of 1.6:1 Roller rockers (or roller-tip) for the 2.8 V6
  • A pair of drag radials that will fit on the stock Fiero 14" wheels
  • A digital instrument cluster from a Cavalier (with V6)

I'm interested, but I'm curious what they look like on a car. Your second link didn't work for me, do you have any pictures of it installed?

Sorry about that. The link had a typo in it. It's fixed now.

I'd like to see some installed photos too, if you know what I mean.

But seriously, after the holidays I'm going to find a hood and install one of these hood vents on it. This new design should look better than the older version that's on my car.
