I have a metal bolt in hood vent for sale from a Chrysler turbo (lebaron I think). Was going to put on hood or decklid, but went custom fiberglass instead. Looking for $40. I would rather picked up, but could arrange for shipping at buyers expense.
Thanks,
Justin W

Nope. I have to get the brakes, suspension, transmission, and engine done first. Then I can do the interior and finally body work too much work. But.... if you beg enough, I"ll make some time to get it put in before the weekend for pictures.

This vent fits the various curves on the Fiero hood perfectly. I have it on my 328 replica. I can take addition pix if you want to see it installed, LMK.

Yes, please some installed pix. Does it take paint well, some plastics are hard to paint.

OK, here are few more pix of this vent installed. BTW, I highly recommend this vent - I think it looks great, AND if you are reasonably careful your hood will not require any repainting after the installation.
Here is the size of the hole that you will need to cut. I traced the outline of the vent onto a paper template, then was able to fool around with adjusting it 'till I got the position right. Then I marked it with a sharpie marker and cut:
And the size of the opening from the inside:
Here is what it looks like from the inside after installation:
View from the outside, hood closed:
And a view from the outside with the hood up - hopefully you can get an idea of how much air can flow through this vent.
I've had this on my car for 12+ years, so it has passed the "durability" test. It appears to be made out of some kind of thermoset/rigid plastic. You could primer it and paint it to match or contrast with your car. I left it black.
PM me if you have any questions.
EMX5636, good luck with the sale - this vent is a useful addition.

It mounts with studs molded into the underside of the scoop. My guess would be to just drill holes in the underside of the hood, and use nuts. Or you might have to make brackets, etc. Shouldn't be too hard. GL finding one. I still see them from time to time.
