I was going to do the 4T60 4 speed automatic transmission upgrade, 7730 and Digital EGR swap that Darth Fiero did in this thread: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/079574.html. Instead I am going to do a 4.9 swap so I don't need the stuff I got together for the swap.
EDIT: I had the Beretta ECM programmed by DarthFiero and using it in my auto 87 GT with the digital EGR and adaptor plate. I'm selling the 7730 ECM (1993 Beretta), pigtails with Fiero ECM plate as an adaptor, digital EGR, (GWAIN) digital EGR adaptor plate and 4T60 transmission (with TC and flywheel) for $225.00. I was told that the transmission has around 50k miles on it but have no way to verify that. It was attached to the motor when I bought it from the forum member around January. You still need to adapt the transmission for the Fiero and program the PROM chip in the ECM for your application.

I don't know how long it was out of the car, but the owner separated the tranny from the motor because I didn't want the motor. I will consider shipping it at your cost obviously. I think there is a place in Cincinnati that ships for around $200 depending on the location. Send me your address or you can find a shipper that you want to use. Do you want everything or just the tranny?
What did the engine/tranny come out of? Are there any code numbers or letters stamped on the tranny tag? Would be nice to know what the FDR is.
I believe that it came out of an 89 Cadillac. I have the code (as best I can read it) somewhere. I think that it is the 3.04 final drive, not the economy and not the one close to the Fiero but inbetween... I'll see if I can find the numbers.
I will be at the swap meet and interested in the tranny (you beat me to the purchase when you got it) for my 4.3 fiero (currently has the 3.33 tranny and want something to lower the RPMs some more).
Anything you want to trade for it or you are looking for?
I do not have any lowering springs and only have 88 parts.
For the 88's I prefer to use 84-87 front springs with 2+coils removed for the front and then move the stock front 88 spring with 1 coil removed to the rear of the 88.... this provides the 88 with about a 35% increase in spring rate front/rear and you can tailor how much you want to drop it.
I'm also looking at repainting some stock 87 GT rims gold to go on my car. I might be willing to trade for a set that is done already... Obviously I would trade for some gold 88 rims but I don't car to pay the premium for the 88's...
