*****I have a new short shifter listed, same as the first one that recently sold***** *****This is the shifter that was listed on ebay approx. three weeks ago. The buyer never responded, I gave plenty of time, sent an invoice twice, and contacted ebay with a non-payment notice. Now it is up for sale again.*****
This was a stock shifter that I cut and rewelded at a shorter height.
Anyone who is worried about these shifters being weak(er) than stock because of the weld, you will have NOTHING to worry about! I have had one of these shifters in my Fiero for years with no failures! I have sold a handful of them and have many friends who have shifters in their cars that I made all with no failures! I weld various metals for a living! Its what I do every day! I would never sell a product that I made if I thought it was junk!
The shifter knob that is in the picture is NOT included.
Here are some pictures, I know we all like to see the pictures:
I can vouch for the quality of these. Chris had 2-3 of them when I was out there last week, and they were excellent quality. If I had a manual trans car, I'd definitely have one of these.

I am not able to get pictures at this very moment, but I can tell you that the shifters that I have been selling are the absolute shortest that you can get while still using the factory Fiero shifter knob.
I currently have an '84 Fiero shifter that is uncut if you would like me to make you a short shifter that is taller than the ones that I usually make. Let me know!
Also, if you are willing to send me your original shifter in return, I will get you a better deal! Chris

I will make these short shifters for anyone FREE, return shipping included, if you have three to send (one for me to cut and send back to you, and two for me to keep).
Thanks for the interest! Chris

The last shifter sold. Thank you to whoever bought it. Was the winning bidder from Pennocks?
I have a new shifter listed. This shifter is the shifter that I had listed on ebay approx. three weeks ago. The winning bidder decided that he/she was not going to pay. After sending two invoices, requests for payment, I contacted ebay with a non-payment notice. Still have heard nothing. So, this shifter is up again - now with a buy it now for anyone who definatly wants to ensure that they win!
chris, got it today, ill send you my shifter saturday or monday at the latest. i put the shifter in already. again i have to say your welds are some of the best i have ever seen. i compared your shifter welds to the factory shifter....yours are perfect. anyway here are some pics of mine, keep in mind that chris made this shifter 1/2 inch longer than his usual ones, at my request. short shifter http://myfiero.com/uploads/17853_.jpg stock in car http://myfiero.com/uploads/17854_.jpg short shifter installed http://myfiero.com/uploads/17855_.jpg

Thank you very much Ace! Welding is what I do. I actually thought the same thing about the original factory welds compared to my welds.... but I didnt want to toot my own horn too loud
Hope you enjoy that shifter! Thanks for the kind words.... anyone else who is or has been thinking about getting one of my shifters... I make them all the same way. Same welder, clean metal, me welding, etc etc etc. You will not find a better weld on a short shifter; that is made from the stock shifter.
