I suppose I will add myself to the list of members that are willing to custom make parts. I am normally busy with work and do not have alot of time for fun stuff like this, but I am currently laid off and I am looking for some extra work. If there is anything somebody needs made, PM me and I will see if it is something I can do. I spent some time in the garage tonight so I figured I'd cut a few and see how they look. $120.00 shipped in the US, $135.00 shipped in Canada. This is the culmination of an earlier thread.................. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/046150.html We will see how it goes.

What grade of steel are you using for those or are you using a different material?

The material I am using is no different then any of the others to my knowledge. It is just 3/8" mild steel. It's nothing special but it is an excellent choice for this type of work. I can get other types of material if there is enough demand for it.

You might find this useful:

PS. I have bookmarked this in case I ever need something. You never know when an engine swap might sneak up on you (if I can just get it past the wife!)

Dave good info to know. I looked at some of their prices and they are really pretty good. Although I am currently laid off (hopefully not for to long) I use the same steel supplier as my employer. My workplace is not that far away and I can order my material along with theirs. Doing it this way cuts down on shipping for me because they order large quantites at a time. Thanks for the info, I will keep them in mind!

Just thought I put a comment out there that Speedy is a honest guy I have purchesed items from him before. Also good luck with this venture I hope it works out well for you.
