I have arranged a group buy price deal with Hella USA (Yes, DIRECT from Hella USA) for the low and high beam modules.
These are the lamps, adjusters and bulbs used in Fiero1Fan's low profile headlight buckets.
Modern lighting technology at an affordable price for your Fiero!
Currently, these modules are listed for 59.75 each on Rallylights.com, and PTC Factory Outlet (Hella USA's sales branch) has them listed for 62 and change.
I have arranged a chance to purchase these modules at a 25% price reduction. Yes! That's right! You can now buy these modules for $45.00 a piece. That is a Sixty dollar savings! A total of four are needed for Fiero1Fan's buckets, but you can use them in anything your heart desires! Toss them in your motorcycle, your lawnmower, hell, put a pair on the Go-Kart for fun!
Hella has agreed to sell these as a group buy deal for 45 a piece, IF we can sell a total of 20 or more sets in one buy.
The lamps include the bulb, and the adjuster kit and mounting clips.
Total for all four lamps, adjusters and bulbs, shipped to your door from me is $205.00. (The additional 25 is to cover freight to my door, and any packing materials I will need in order to reship to you.)
When I receive a confirmed 20 orders, I will place the order for the lamps through Hella. When they arrive at my place, they will undergo an inspection, and be packed and shipped. YES! You CAN arrange to have them shipped with your new buckets from Fiero1Fan!
Note: I will make nothing on this. This is a direct to consumer pricing from Hella, I am simply the guy who will pack them and send them your way once they get to my door.
If you have any questions pertaining to these lamps, please feel free to ask! If you want to send payment with the understanding that it will be held until the order is placed, or refunded if we don't make the deal quantity, you can Paypal me at: synssins@yahoo.com I will not order until I have a confirmed 20 orders and payments. If I get more than 20, I will order the extras at the same time. Please send payment as a personal gift, or include an additional $5.00 to cover paypal fees. Include "Hella 90MM Modules" in the subject line or notes. Canadian buyers, PM me before sending payments. Shipping to Canada adds a little bit.

do we have a date we are shooting for the orders to be in or deadline for payments to be in ? and what is the estimated delivery from time we place the buy ? thanks rob
I would like to shoot for a "Last Call" date of September 13th. I will place the order on the morning of the 14th with Hella, or refund the money if I do not have enough orders placed to make the 20 minimum.
At the very end of September, I will become super busy for a month as I work Halloween Haunt again as a vampire.
Ordering on the 14th should give me plenty of time to get them in, inspect, pack into "kit" boxes and ship. I will be receiving them in bulk packaging, so the repack is necessary.
I did not receive an official time frame from order placement to delivery to me, but I would expect at least 3-7 business days to make sure that all items are on hand and shipped in one shipment to me. From me to you, via USPS or UPS, 3-5 business days. Add 1-2 days for inspection and shipping. If anything arrives in less than satisfactory shape, those items will need to be replaced by Hella. That may add some time.

Buckets are still pending final price due to the protective coating. Don't have a definitive answer on it yet. Expect between 160-170 at this stage, with a strong lean towards 170.

So if we order the lamps and the buckets, do we get everything we need to install? Is there some harness required too? Time frame for the buckets? Thanks for your efforts.

You would need one of three harnesses for this upgrade. I sell all three. Tier 1, $55 plus shipping (about 8 bucks) is a direct H4 to twin H9 plug and play harness. This utilizes the stock wiring in the vehicle to provide power to the lights. While this works, the lights draw more power than the stock bulb. This means that the 20+ year old wiring has to handle a high power draw. It works, but is not the best option. Tier 2, $100 for the front mount battery kit (add $20 for rear mount battery) provides a dedicated power path to the lights from the battery. The power runs through two relays which are controlled by the OEM high/low wires. This means that you get a more efficient power path, with less load on the stock wiring. Tier 3, $125 for the front mount battery kit (add $20 for rear mount battery) provides the same as Tier 2, but when you turn the high beams on, it turns on all four lamps. This is what I currently have in my vehicle. It REALLY lights the road up. Shipping on both the tier 2 and tier 3 harnesses is 11 bucks when shipped separately. I have to assemble more harnesses, and get the existing harnesses I have finished shipped.
The time frame on the buckets is unknown as of right now. I pick up the rest of them on Wednesday (two days from now) and begin the little bit of welding that is needed. Once I get that done, I will then send them off for coating. As soon as they come back, they will then be packaged and ready to ship. I am estimating a turnaround on the buckets of 2-3 weeks at this stage.

hmm, this is a good deal. I have F1F buckets and i've been putting off the purchase of the bulbs until something like this came along.
How much for the BULBs + TIER 3 harness + shipping (to Toronto Canada)?
PM me and I'll send you my address details.

I have estimated that the additional shipping to Canada is approximately 15 bucks on top of the initial purchase. I need to know whether you have a front mount or rear mount battery as well.
That is a *Great* deal! I wish I would have waited till I had my harness before buying my lights, I could have gotten in on this!! Ah well, live and learn. At least I got mine before PTC upped their pricing.
Speaking of wiring harnesses, Synth, you've got a PM!

I agree! I have had LOTS of PMs on this group buy, but only one person has stepped forward... I'd really love to be able to bring this to the Fiero community.
I need 19 more paid and confirmed before I can order.

I will put people on the list as they pay for the headlamps. Please remember to send payment as a gift, separate from any harness payments. This will allow me to refund any headlamp payments if the group buy falls through.
I would love to dive in on this, but it doesn't really look like 17 other people are going to come out of the woodwork in less than a week. I suppose I'll just keep checking back in.

Worst case scenario is no, people don't join in...
Next worst case scenario... People look and see that others aren't joining in, so therefor, they do not join in either, and they just wait and see and check back in...
Least worst case scenario, you make the payment via Paypal, and if the group buy falls through, you get a full refund of the headlamp price.
Best case scenario, people decide to jump in anyway, even though it doesn't look like a large group of people will join in, and their participation encourages others....
Makes sense, right?

I tried looking but is there a before and after comparision of these and stock lights at night? Are these like those white light headlights I see on expesnsive cars or like the silverstars light?

Which are a huge improvement over the factory lamps.
Give me a bit, I want to find someone with a stock Fiero near here who can take pictures with me. I'd love to get a shot of the cars side by side against a white wall just for comparison.

Did you get my payment? Let me know if I need to PM you my address.
Yes I did. I updated you.
I don't think the group buy is going to work out... I'd like it to, and I may be able to extend it one week... But for now, the original deadline holds...
Come on people, this is a GREAT deal.

Trinten, your harness will go out again this week. My hand writing was the cause of the return by USPS. Sorry for the delay.
All others who have ordered harnesses, I began assembly on them, and ordered more supplies to get them finished.
I am low on H9 connectors, and will need to order next week.
I have one set of Tier 1 adapters ready if anyone wants to jump on them. 65 shipped. They are new, I assembled them as "Proof of Concept" and plugged them in once to test on a vehicle.
Also, BUMP! Headlight group buy is almost over! Get your money in now to get on this deal!

i think the hold up is the fact that you have to pay over money w/o even buying anything....i mean, don't get me wrong, i'm not saying i don't trust you synthesis, i do....it's just with so many scams going on over the internet, i'm sure it's hard for people to dish out nearly $200.00 just on good faith...especially online...maybe if we could comprise a list of people w/o having to pay up front, then when we have enough people, get everyone to pay...i think that would ease some worries....just a thought
