What is the best exhaust system to install on a 85 Fiero GT?

Is Borla (if you can find) better than the Ocelot stainless systme from the Fiero Store? What about a CAT and manifolds/headers; are Focoa's better than the stainless Sprint's with coating?

My GT has been in the family since day 1 and I have only need to change the CAT once. My manifolds are leaking/cracked, my muffler is toast and the entire exhaust system is flaking rust all over my driveway ... it needs to be changed.

What is the best set-up outthere in terms of quality: Manifolds, pipes, cat, muffler etc... Based on my reading I thought Borla was the best but I want everyones opinion before I spend in the wrong areas.

I think that you will find that borla exhausts are as scarce as hens teeth.

I've got one of the Borla systems from Twin Lake's, before they quit doing business, with a Borla ready Rodney Dickman cat, love it, love the sound. Other than the original factory system I have nothing to compare to though.

You really should have put this in the general Fiero section. Your not buying or selling anything. It's a good discussion topic, to my knowledge the mall isn't archived for future retrieval.
