I was asked to make a MAP sensor cover. I finally got it where I like it. It just simply slips over the MAP and sits there. I do not feel like it would ever bounce off the MAP once placed on there. Maybe over the top on dress ups.. It was requested and I tried it.

All you have to do is flush trim the pointed screws sticking out with like a dermal and the box just slides right over the MAP. There are pegs inside the box for the MAP top holes and secures by pushing it down in those.

$30 if anyone wants one without engraving. $40 for any custom engraving. This includes priority mail shipping with tracking. 2 in stock at this time.

The holes in the top of the 3800 MAP are the mounting point. On the 2.8 it is the side holes.

I can setup holes however that bolt the MAP cover to the 3800 MAP, and then to the bracket itself. Maybe next week I will try this if no one has this copied by then.

aluminum... but if the wires are 8mm and bigger, you dont have to worry so much about cross fire. They have been working fine for 4 years on there.

I like it!
Would you be able to make one with the same image flipped 90 degrees to look correct on my V8 motor?

It is already engraved in my machine at 90 degrees, but yes, the machine nor software knows which way is up.

What would you like on it?

TPI Power

I would like the same Fiero shield logo that you have on the other MAP covers. Maybe resized to fit correct, since the cover is facing a different way than on the 2.8

How about one with just the Pegasus, since the intake already has the Fiero logo?

I prefer the Fiero shield image just as you have it. Not really a fan of the "tpi power"

I like those...

Not to add more to your plate... but I've got Pegus(ii)?, multiple Pegasus's'?, whatever, I've got them all over...

I'd like to have that MAP cover with the Pontiac Arrowhead on it.

Doable?

bubba... give me the good old classic! (the arrowhead, not the indian chief )

The other two look familiar... are those styling que's from the G8?

It would be low priority... no rush. But I'll be proud to have it on the car. LMK when you've got one ready.

HUmm, that would be a nice place for some aluminum pieces. I will work on this.

Blake, I just got in new material for the covers. I have another Dart that is better detail and imported to MC where I can work with it.

Thanks all..

I am still working on designing something that will fit the 3800SC MAP. The screws are different between the 2.8 and the 3800SC and some redesign thought is needed.

Thanks for checking,

Loyde... I did not see the MAP product on your website. Did I miss it?

If you don't have it up on there yet, should I just Paypal you directly?... if so, to what email address?

Anyone else want one of these?

I am still working on a project and have not got the 3.2 stroker deal laid out. If someone with PS can lay out something you like, I can copy that.

Only a few days to Christmas.

Having seen first hand the one that Loyde did for the Tyler Project, I can say unequivocally that these MAP covers are top notch! If you don't already have one on your 2.8 V6 or 3.4 PR swap, you should...
