Ive sanded on them a bit, someone has painted them before me. I would like to get back what I spent on them. $230.

For a bit more you can give me a deposit and a paint code and I could paint them for you.

If you could somehow build me an axle for the passenger side of my 3800 4t65hd swap with pr mounts ill knock off $90 plus whatever it takes you to ship it to me.

What color are they currently painted? Is that a stock silver?

Looks like a single stage metallic silver, they are a mixture of that and...fiberglass color lol. I sanded on them a bit. A few owners back someone painted these without doing the body work to make it look good. They need to be redone. They do not seem hard to install. I had them on in about 30 min or so. I love the look of these but The cash needs to go somewhere more useful.

i called Archie, he said when they leave his shop they weigh 33lbs. I'm not sure on the dimensions.

My zip code is 52753 if you want to figure out your own shipping, ill ship with whoever you want but I usually go with ups. i can tweak the weight at my drop point to make it a tad cheaper for you.

I hope you don't mind me interjecting a little bit here.

After seeing this post this AM, I realized that you must be the guy who called me last night asking me how much the rockers weighed when I ship them. I did tell you 33# or so the way we pack them.

Now, that I've seen this post, I think you should have asked me a few more questions.

So let me fill you in.

You can ship them UPS Ground (<~~ that's the cheapest way. Unless you put them on a bus)

When we ship them out, they are nested & packed into a box that is 75" x 36" x 7". You won't get them into a smaller box without cutting them up.

Those looking to get a shipping quote, need to remember to enter the box size.

If the box is that size, it is just barely under the UPS "Oversize #3" maximum size limit. So if you make the box 2 or 3 inches bigger than trhe size I've posted, UPS won't ship it.

When packed into the 75" x 36" x 7" box, the parts rub against the inside of the box & can rub against each other. You should take that into consideration in your painting & shipping decissions.

BTW, you can't tweak the weight or the package size. UPS weighs & laser sizes each package comparing it to the bar code that's on the shipping label. You can charge someone shipping based on tweaked numbers, but when you get the UPS bill, you'll be paying for the actual size & weight.

Sorry for interrupting your thread. I could have told you all this last night when you called me if I had known what you were trying to do.

Archie

Yeap that was me, thanks for chiming in.

There is also a site called uship.com Ive got large items shipped with this site just fine.

Scratch the tweaking idea.

If whoever wants these shipped as is, the rubbing shouldn't be to big of an issue. Ill still put some bubble wrap between the parts for the heck of it.
